Kite Flying Weather
As the cold winter air is leaving our area, the warmer air is moving in to replace it. When this happens every year we get a lot more wind than normally. Today it is very wind in the Peach State of Georgia. Some will refer to this cold pattern in spring as blackberry winter and it’s the time of the year when the blackberries start to show their blooms. So if you have a kite and want to see it get up there really high, a day like today would be a good time to do it.
I like flying kites and its a fun thing to do every so often. We don’t get a lot of windy days here, so you have to be ready when it does happen. It seems in fall the wind is much stronger and lasts longer too. So if you did want to buy a kite in Georgia, I would recommend waiting to the fall time of the year. I know those people that live on the beach can fly a kite on any day. We are planning to go to Florida in June and I might have to get a kite when we are on the beach in Daytona and let my nephews see it. I’m sure someone down there will be flying a kite, so I might can save some money and just watch strangers flying a kite.
