28 days is what it will take at one Michigan drug rehab center. This is a new place that has been set up for people with an addiction problem. Drugs and alcohol are not only two things that are very addictive, but they are also 2 things that are hard to come off of. Now if you’re thinking addiction and stopping is the same thing, it is different with drugs and alcohol. You might have a craving for a piece of pecan pie. Once you eat it, then you lose that craving. Now the craving might come back later, but if you don’t cure it, then there’s really no harm. It’s not like that with drugs and alcohol. Our bodies get use to having the drugs, and doing everyday functions with them. When you take that away, many things can start to happen. Chills, being paranoid, cold sweats, unable to sleep, body aches, shaking, and several other things will start to occur, once you don’t have the drugs or alcohol anymore. You don’t get those same conditions, by just not eating that piece of pecan pie you was craving.

Stopyouraddiction.com is the people in charge at this new facility in Michigan. They are prepared to help anybody who is willing to help their self. That’s the first step in getting a successful drug treatment. The person that has the addiction must be willing to help their self. If that’s the case, then stopyouraddiction.com can help you do the rest. The most important thing now, is just to start some type of help. So you can get back to a normal life with the rest of us!

I enjoyed reading your article. However, I have my doubts as to 28 days being enough time to treat addiction. My father tried several 28 day programs and always ended up relapsing shortly after he left. A little over two years ago my mother enrolled him at Narconon Vista Bay. He completed the program after 4 months and has been doing utterly amazing ever since, and my whole family is so proud of him. I do believe that some people will have success at 28 day programs. However, longer programs like that offered at Narconon Vista Bay are very necessary to help addicts suffering from long term addiction.

I agree. I have heard that once you are hooked on drugs or alcohol, that you will be addicted to them for life. It’s just learning how to redo things in your life, so that you are not dependant on the drugs anymore. It’s hard, and is not going to be easy for anyone trying to come off of them. I wish your dad all the best, and good to hear the people at Narconon Vista Bay are doing a great job!
