Gators & Sooners Set to Clash

The BCS Champion will be crowned after the Oklahoma Sooners and Florida Gators play their football game. Florida has actually won the college football title for this year, because they beat the 2nd best team in the country, which was the Alabama Crimson Tide. It’s all about who you play during the year and the other football conferences don’t stack up to the SEC. The ACC is full of talent and good teams and they deserve to play SEC teams and be ranked with them. All other schools outside of the ACC and SEC just confuse the polls and voters. This is why we have Ohio State getting blown out every year and they have to play a team from the South and they just don’t match up. Even the weak PAC 10 manages to put a team like USC in the top 10 in the country and that team can’t even win their games against that weak Pac 10 competition. The Oklahoma Sooners may or may not have a good team this year. We don’t really know the answer to this because they haven’t been tested with good competition yet. If they beat Florida or lose by single digits I will be impressed and know they had a good football team this year. If they are on the losing side by 20 points or more; then it just shows once again how these other conferences are way over ranked.

Other great bowl games college fans will get to see this year

Sugar Bowl: Utah .vs. Alabama

Orange Bowl: Virginia Tech .vs. Cincinnati

Chick-Fil-A Game: Georgia Tech .vs. LSU

Capital One Game: Michigan State .vs. Georgia

Gator Bowl: Clemson .vs. Nebraska

Liberty Game: Kentucky .vs. East Carolina

These are some of the more desirable bowl games you will see this year. I’m not sure why some of those teams are playing in BCS Bowl games when they didn’t play a real football team all year and still manage to lose along the way. I guess we will never determine who’s the best until a playoff system is in place. I know they don’t want this to happen because of the teams that don’t play in the ACC or SEC would never stand a chance in a game with the type of talent these teams put out on the field every Saturday.
