The stock market looks pretty good these days. It appears the stocks are coming back and investors are starting to pour money into the markets once again. So where do we want to go make money? I’m still saving my cash right now and I haven’t found a company or companies I’m ready go with at this point. I want to build my cash reserves a little higher before I go jumping back in the stock market. My portfolio is made up of ASX by 26 percent right now and I know Jim wouldn’t like that. I do plan to decrease my percentage invested into this one company. I never did intend for ASX to make up 26 percent of my portfolio. It just turns out that it’s been a hot stock for me and since it has did so well, it’s commanded a larger chunk of my portfolio space.

I will be investing into other companies soon and by the end of 2010; I would think that ASX will be less than 10 percent of my total stock portfolio. You should make sure your investments are diversified too. Don’t let any one stock take up more than 20 percent of your portfolio. My 26 percent exposure to one stock is only temporarily and I have long term goals with my investments. I don’t plan to need my money for the next 20 years, so I tend to be a little more aggressive than the average investor. I never have had a great paying job like some people have had at one time in their life. I always thought it would be fun to have one, so I would be making more money than I knew what to do with. It seems I’m barely making ends meet week to week and can never get ahead. If I had a nice paying job, I would be able to put money back for next month’s bills; instead of having to wait until next month’s paycheck to pay them.

I thought I messed up by not going to college (which I did), but they are other ways to make big money without having a college education. I have some friends that can drive the big trucks and construction vehicles and they make really good money. I think driving or operating machinery for a living is easy work and some of these jobs pay really well. If you can drive or learn to drive an 18 wheeler; then you have a lot of opportunity to make money driving cross country. I would like to travel from state to state in a big rig, but I haven’t ever learned to drive one. I get intimidated driving a van or one of the moving vehicles you can rent; that are slightly larger than a car. I might do better as a Manitex crane operator or some other construction vehicle that doesn’t need to be drove on public roads. I guess these operators drive their own cranes to the job sites and they are larger than normal size cars and trucks and I would need to do some driving on the public highways and roadways.

If you’re looking for a new career and would like to earn more money than what you make now; a construction driver is the way to go! These guys get paid really well for driving and operating cranes, bulldozers, big trucks, and other specialized equipment that is present in construction work. I need to learn how to drive one of these big trucks, so I can start making more money. I may just need to save up money and buy these big equipment trucks and run my own company and let my friends drive them. I think they would be willing to teach me how to drive one, but we need one to practice with and that isn’t too likely to happen. I know there are schools that help train people for these sorts of jobs and enrolling into one of these schools would be great for someone like me.

I think every business has concerns with the recent economic troubles that have been facing companies in many different countries all over the world. Big businesses and small businesses are paying attention to the “numbers” right now and deciding on how they can survive these tough times financially. It won’t be easy increasing customer base and sales when times are like this, so any angle and aspect are being looked at right now. What is the best vacation you have ever taken? The best vacation I have ever gone on has not happened yet. I know that may sound strange, but I have big travel plans for later in life and none of my past vacations are no match for my future plans. A trip to another country would be great and I hope I get to visit Europe some day. I also would like to take a cruise to a tropical island or to Alaska. Traveling on the high seas in a big ship seems like a great vacation and its something I have never did before. I know the state of Alaska has so much to see and the scenery from the cruise ships are magnificent. The best vacation for me is still in the future and I can only dream about it for now. I can’t wait to see the day when my dreams to travel all over the world come true and see where my adventures take me!
