Horror Friends by the Talented Jordan Crowder

October has finally got here and we get to celebrate the spookiest time of the year in October. It’s that final day of the month where the door bells start ringing and kids go from house to house looking for candy. This is also the time of the year that I think about Jordan Crowder and his great video he did about Halloween. It features some of the top killers in all of those scary movies that we have been watching since childhood and Jordan really puts a twist on it. Please sit back and enjoy this great halloween video by Jordan Crowder.

Horror Friends

Did you enjoy that? I think that is a great video and one of the best videos I have ever seen at YouTube. Jordan is going to do much bigger and better things than that and I think he has a bright career in the movie business. You can see all the work and effort he put into this You Tube video and that dedication will reward him later on in life.

Jordan has many other great videos you can watch over at You Tube. I have been posting several of his videos here and even created a category for Jordan’s works. So if you get the chance, go click on “Filmmaker Jordan Crowder” here at my blog and you can go back and see several of his videos. I will try to get more of them up later on and see if we can keep track of Joran on his way to fame in Hollywood.

Jordan Crowder: Big Ideas

The talented filmmaker that calls Canada home is still attending film school in the USA. He has another great video up at You Tube and I thought I would share this with you. It’s called Big Ideas and shows a simple short movie about trying to create a good movie. I think Jordan has a lot bigger and better ideas that will materialize for him in the future. Here’s the version YouTubers are getting to take a look at now.

Big Ideas by Jordan Crowder

I think Jordan better watch acting in his own films, someone might just snatch him up to be an actor in Hollywood. I think Jordan would find the time to act in a few movies that might appear on the big screen, but his true dreams is to be directing Hollywood Blockbusters. You can see through these short films at You Tube just how talented he is. The camera work is always great and Jordan and all the other actors do such a great job in these short films.

Jordan Crowder becoming a star is not the question, when will Jordan Crowder become a star director is the only thing that hangs in the balance. He will be there and if continues doing what he has started, we will be getting to witness the very early stages of a Hollywood Director in the making. He has everything I think it takes to make it out in California and I believe Jordan’s personality appears to be adaptable to any situation he might find his self into. Actors and actresses are going to love working for this future Hollywood Director. He will have all the big names in California and around the world just waiting to land a piece of a script he might have for an upcoming movie. Jordan Crowder is going to land some where someday, stick around and let’s follow his dreams and see just how far they go.

Never Rode by Jordan Crowder

Jordan has another great short film over at You Tube. This one is called Never Rode and it’s pretty funny to see this guy in this short film. I think your heart will go out to him and even feel sorry for him. Perhaps you have found your self saying things like this or maybe making excuses for other people.

Jordan Crowder’s Never Rode

Too funny!

Why that guy might have never rode in a limo before, I think Jordan Crowder will have plenty of opportunities to do just that. This talented filmmaker is still going to film school and I’m sure when Hollywood gets a chance to see the talented Mr. Crowder they will find a place for him out there. They might not have to find a place and Jordan might just create his own place as he continues to progress toward his talents. I won’t be shocked one bit to see Jordan Crowder arriving to a limo to a Oscars Presentation one day. He has already grabbed the attention of Rob Zombie who posted a YouTube video on Halloween videos and liked Jordan’s Horror Friends at YouTube.

I will continue adding more of Jordan’s short films here at my blog. It will give us all a chance to follow Jordan and see how he’s comming along as a filmmaker. The sky will be the limit, if Jordan continues to pursure his interest in acting and producing films. Stay tuned and I will be adding more works of Jordan Crowder in the near future!

Third Wheel by Jordan Crowder

The talented filmmaker Jordan Crowder has another great short film I would like to share with you. It’s called the Third Wheel and it’s another look at the great imagination of Jordan Crowder. Jordan describes the Third Wheel at YouTube as “A guy, an ex, a boyfriend, a gun“. The character Dignan is played by Jordan himself. So you not only get to see Jordan Crowder direct this short film, but he also stars in it too! I would assume that Jordan’s character falls under the “ex” part in his description on the Third Wheel.

Jordan Crowder’s Third Wheel

Whew! Now how many of you thought that Jordan’s character Dignan lost control? It was a scary scene and something that could have occurred in real life. They are a lot of crimes that get committed everyday, that stem from love or a relationship that has gone bad. Sometimes people break up and it’s not a joint venture. There is usually one side of a relationship that gets really hurt from a break up or separation and sometimes it can lead to something violent like you just saw. We know Jordan could never have lost control like that and luckily what we seen was just a “dream sequence” and his violent actions didn’t really take place.

Stay tuned and keep your eyes open for more great short films by Jordan Crowder. I will continue to post new videos and see more into the mind of Jordan Crowder. The talented Mr. Crowder appears to be just now lighting the fires that will propel him to big stardom out in Hollywood some day. It should be an interesting journey to see where Jordan Crowder goes from here. I wouldn’t bet against him!

Brokeback Kitchen by Jordan Crowder

The talented Mr. Crowder did a short film that is titled Brokeback Kitchen and it’s a lot like another popular movie that had a couple of cowboys that got friendly. Brokeback Mountain is a film that got a lot of attention drawn to it, by the scenes in it that involved a couple of guys that had feelings for one another. Now Jordan’s film puts a twist in it and he displays his own version at YouTube.

Brokeback Kitchen by Jordan Crowder

Too funny!

Now that is just one of the many short films that Jordan Crowder has on display. His short films are all put together so nicely and you can see in Brokeback Kitchen that it looks just like the trailers for the big Hollywood movies. It’s just a matter of time until Hollywood does snatch him up and he’s in L.A. producing movies for all of us to go and see at the theaters.

There are still a lot more videos I am going to put up of Jordan Crowder, so stick around and see the multi-talents of Mr. Crowder.

A Dangerous Addiction by Jordan Crowder

Here is another interesting short film by Jordan Crowder. He has created a lot of these small films and this one is called A Dangerous Addiction. You will never believe what the guy is addicted to in this film by Jordan Crowder.

A Dangerous Addiction

I got a good laugh out of that one! I think we all have did what the guy above was doing. I know as kids we use to fight over that stuff. It’s even carried over to my adulthood and it seems like it’s one of those things you have to do. I don’t think I have ever openned a package without busting a few of the bubbles on the bubble wrap.

I think this is a good sign of just how brilliant Jordan Crowder is. He took something that we are all familiar with and made a movie out of it. Something that we all do and it’s rarely brought up in conversations, unless someone is taking the bubble wrap out of a package at the moment. That’s a great little trait to have in producing movies or someone that might be on stage being a stand-up comic. It’s searching for material that everybody knows, but is rarely brought up in conversations. Taking that little nugget of information and blowing it up bigger than what it really is. The bubble wrap is a good example of that nugget you want as a comedian or a film producer.

I will be displaying more of Jordan’s videos later on. I’m saving some of my favorites for later and you can get to know who Jordan Crowder is from my blog here. He’s got a lot more great videos to come and once you see them, you will know he had to put a little time in creating them. Keep up the good work Jordan!

Rocky or Ricky in Philadelphia?

Filmmaker Jordan Crowder had an interesting take on the famous scene from Rocky. I love the Rocky movies and I think Rocky 4 is the best movie ever. Rocky 4 came out when the cold war was at it’s peak between the Soviet Union and the United States. After destroying Apollo Creed in the USA, Drago returns home to Russia, where Rocky comes to his country to fight the boxer. It was such a great movie to see in theaters and hear the roar of the crowds that were attending the movies in the 1980’s.

Long before Rocky ever got to this stage in his boxing career, he was training on the streets of Philadelphia. Jordan Crowder has a new take on the classic scene with his version of Rocky and he’s known as Ricky.

Ricky by Jordan Crowder

Great video!

Jordan is a talented filmmaker that lives in Canada and is currently attending film school in Texas. This is just one of the many great small films he has already completed. I think we will all be at the theaters one day purchasing a ticket to one of Jordan’s films on the big screen. You can see he has a lot of talent and I’m sure Hollywood isn’t that far away for him, after he completes his education out in Texas.

Be sure to keep up with Jordan Crowder as I will be featuring more of his works on my blog here at My Favorite Blank. It should be an interesting journey to see what path Jordan takes over the next few years. This is the 2nd video I have posted on Jordan here and if you missed the first video, then just go back and check out Jordan Crowder’s 1st appearance at My Favorite Blank.

Meet Jordan Crowder

Jordan Crowder is a very talented filmmaker from Canada. He was born in Detroit and moved to Montreal, Quebec at the age of 6. He soon became interested in the arts of filmmaking and acting too. He is now 22 years old and is attending school at the University of Texas. He is taking advantage of a scholarship that he received from Austin’s Film School. Jordan has produced a nice collection of works already and I thought I would display them on my blog. I did get his permission first and he is aware of his works being displayed on my blog. I’m not really sure how big Jordan’s dreams are to become a successful filmmaker, but at only 22 years old, it would seem the sky is the limit.

I am the camera man/producer/filmmaker for my family. I’m the one that gets the camcorder out and puts together all the family get togethers and such. I thought I was doing a pretty good job and had a lot of creativity in my works, until I saw one of Jordan’s films. I soon realized that I was way behind the curve and as I continued to watch other pieces that Jordan had put together, I knew he had ideas that were just busting at the seams. I could very well be the next guy you see with a film on America’s Funniest Home Videos and Jordan might just be the very next Steven Spielberg that we are all mad at, because he won’t release E.T. on VCR tapes that we could go to Blockbuster and rent. If it sounds like I am jumping the gun a bit, be sure to watch some of his work before you start blasting me. I am going to show you below the first film that I saw that caught my eye. While my eye may be long from a professional’s opinion, maybe Rob Zombie’s eye could shed light as well.

First Let’s Meet Jordan

Does he sound cocky? Or is he just being sarcastic? I think he was just being sarcastic. Watching his works and the email he sent me, he sounds like a really great guy and check out the video that caught Rob Zombie’s eye and mine as well.

Horror Friends by Jordan Crowder

So what did you think?

Being a huge fan of horror movies and the characters that play in them, I just loved this video. I must have watched it a few dozen times now and it was this video that made me wonder, just who was this Jordan Crowder?

Now for the metal heads out there that know about White Zombie are well-aware of their songwriter and lead singer Rob Zombie. Some may be more familiar with the movies House of 1000 Corpses or its sequel The Devil’s Rejects; both of these movies were produced by Rob Zombie. His 2007 movie made big news as he brought back Michael Myers from the popular Halloween movies and once again the mask killer was on the big screen terrorizing the neighborhood.

Rob recently did a video at YouTube, where he was looking for Halloween themes from other YouTubers. In his search, guess who he found?

Rob Zombie’s Halloween Videos

Did you see Jordan’s YouTube video get mentioned by Rob Zombie?

While Rob didn’t necessarily give a great endorsement and really seem to be a bit full of his self and maybe doesn’t really realize that the videos he was mentioning, was just like the big studios produce. Except the people on YouTube aren’t making millions from their works and would seem just to have a love for the arts instead of the big bucks, like Rob is making. I still think its very impressive to see a guy like Jordan get mentioned by another fellow filmmaker/producer. Rob was born in 1965 and Jordan was born 20 years later in 1985 and it makes me wonder where Jordan Crowder will be in 20 years.

Wikipedia (online encyclopedia) credits Rob Zombie with 5 movies right now. One is just a short film and another one hasn’t been release yet and will be out in 2008. When the rated R animation of The Haunted World of El Superbeasto comes out in 2008, it will make Rob’s 5th film. It should be interesting to see what Wikipedia has on Jordan Crowder in 20 years.

Stay tuned and I will be featuring more of Jordan’s works over the days, weeks, months, and possibly years to come! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK JORDAN!
