The New Chiller Channel

Have you had a chance to see the new channel that is called Chiller? I really like this new channel and I wish it would have come out when I was a kid. It features nothing but horror movies and scary shows on the Chiller channel. I have seen some really good movies already and I also like the different television series they show. Friday the 13th the series is shown regularly; you can also see Night Gallery, Tales of the Crypt and Tales from the Darkside to name a few. It’s not too much longer until Halloween will be here and I’m sure they will have a marathon of movies for us to watch on Chiller. I like watching all of the Freddy, Jason and Michael Myers movies they are. These horror pictures never get old and I can watch them over and over again. Halloween and Friday the 13th are my favorite movies, but Nightmare on Elm Street and Child’s Play is also high on my list. I think Freddy and Chucky have the comedy down and they will make you laugh as they terrorize and kill people in the movies they are in. Amytiville Horror is also a great series of movies that I think is a must watch if you have never seen them. A lot of these movies I am naming do come on Chiller and you can see other great scary movies too. I have Dishnetwork Satellite and the Chiller Channel is on 199. I’m not sure if cable has it yet or if Direct TV has been able to add it to their line up. If you have Dish, then just turn it to channel 199 and you can see horror shows and movies 24 hours a day. I mean you will get all the gore and blood you can handle and the scare never ends on the new Chiller station.

No TV in 2009 for Some

All of the television stations will be changing over to a digital broadcast in 2009 and will no longer work with an analog reception. So what does this mean for you? Well maybe nothing and you might not notice it if you currently use a satellite provider like Dish Network or Direct TV or if you’re currently a cable subscriber. Those companies are ahead of the curve and they will have everything in place and ready to go for their customers. The people that will have to change the tv viewing habits, will be the ones that currently use an antenna to get local programming in the area. So if you are watching television via antenna, please be aware of the upcoming changes in February 2009. No television sets will be getting a signal then, so this mean no pictures will be shown on your tv.

This is a move to help everyone get a better television reception and is being led by the government. I currently use satellite television and I will be fine when these new changes take place next year. I do feel bad for the people that live outside of the cities and don’t have a cable service that runs in their area. These folks can still get a satellite dish and they are 2 major companies to choose from, but it doesn’t mean an extra bill coming into the household. In many cases, people that live in these areas and don’t already have a satellite dish, is because they can’t afford it. If you live far away from a big city, I’m sure jobs are scarce and money is probably tight in a lot of these households. So these folks will have 1 of two choices to make; they can get the dish which won’t be easy to afford or they can go without watching television. Television and radio has always been a great value in our country and use to, if you just owned a tv or radio, you could see or listen to what you needed. Now that is no longer the case and television won’t be watched by as many Americans starting next year. Radio will still be free for us to listen to all our favorite tunes, but how long will the music continue to come in for free? Hopefully these changes don’t continue like they appear to be and who would have ever thought that air at a gas station would cost us 75 cents? If they can charge us for air at those prices, take away our television programs; then I’m sure the music coming from our radios is just a little time away.

What’s the Big Deal with Miley’s Photos?

Miley Cyrus Photos Cause Uproar

miley_1.jpg

The 15 year old Miley Cyrus better known as Hanna Montana is causing a lot of buzz due to some racy photos. Vanity Fair started this uproar by putting photos of Miley in their latest edition and the photos show Miley Cyrus half clothed. The photos are shown in an artistic way and I don’t think the photos are anything to be talking about. Miley’s parents were there during the photo shoot and if they don’t have a problem with it, I’m not sure why anyone else would.

Now this attention has caused some other photos to turn up and people want to turn the sweet and lovable Miley Cyrus into the next Brittany Spears. While the photos are a little in question in taste and showing photos like this 30 years ago would have certainly caused an uprising, I just don’t see the commotion in 2008. Has anyone been to the malls or movie theaters to see how the 12 year old girls are dressing? This isn’t saying they are wrong and Miley is right, it’s just that our times are changing and 12 year old girls wear clothes that show the mid-drift or belly area. You do see a clear change in what a 12 year old girl wears, compared to what a 14 year old girl would wear. Now Miley is 15 and with all her fame and fortune she does need to create and send a positive message to the young girls out there. I think Miley has been a good role model for young girls and if they are too squeaky clean, they aren’t going to seem like the All American Teenage Girl. I think Miley has been squeaky clean for too long and these photos will do more good than harm.

Don’t you remember being a kid and your parents telling you something you shouldn’t do? When adults say don’t, that just means it something that kids will want to try. All the concerned adults and parents out there that is blowing these Miley Cyrus Photos out of proportion; you’re only creating a stronger bond between Miley and her fans. So if you think what Miley Cyrus done was really that bad, you might just won’t to bite your tongue and let your kids make up their own mind.

Is there anyone out there that seriously thinks we should be talking about these photos? Do you feel these photos are really that bad? I would have no problem posting any of the controversial photos on my blog. If I was just browsing through Vanity Fair or any other magazine and saw the photos, I would have not thought twice about it. I’m surprised so many people rushed to judgment and made Miley feel like she had to apologize. Don’t apologize Hanna Montana, you did nothing wrong! She created a billion dollar empire for her self and I don’t see these Hanna Montana Photos doing anything to dent that!

I think Disney’s Hanna Montana and Miley Cyrus will be ok!

Is Gilligan Really to Blame?

Can we blame poor ol Gilligan for getting everyone stranded on that tiny little island in the Pacific? I think we have to first look at the Skipper and did he really know what he was doing? If the professor is so smart, why couldn’t he have figured out that the storm clouds was getting worse that sunk that tiny little ship? You have to also look at the Howells and all the money they had and why not with all their millions, did they not have a cell phone? You know one cell phone, someone that could have forecasted the storm or a good skipper on the S.S. Minnow and this whole tragedy could have been avoided.

I’m not sure if Ginger or Mary Ann could have done anything different to prevent the passengers all getting stranded. I just think we should start spreading the blame around more and not putting the accident or all the failed rescue attempts on Gilligan’s shoulders. I think Gilligan did a lot on the island to keep the other people that was stranded there on their toes. I really did wonder why the professor and skipper could have not put their heads together and built a ship to rescue them off of that island. Just remember the next time you sit down to watch Gilligan’s Island or that all day marathon that might come on, to not blame Gilligan and hold the others responsible too!

Alyssa Milano on Earl, Writers Strike and Politics

So have you guys been watching Earl? He comes on NBC every Thursday Night at 8 Eastern Time. I have really liked watching the show and it looks like Earl will be out of prison now. I never thought he would have stayed that long in prison, but there were some really funny parts while Earl was in prison. You will also get to see Alyssa Milano in upcoming episodes of Earl.

alyssasatinjacket.jpg

I started watching Earl when I read that Alyssa was going to start being on the show. She has recently came out and said that she was suppose to be back on December 2nd, but due to the writers strike, things were a little screwed up right now. Alyssa Milano does support the writers in their strike and she thinks they deserve a bigger piece of the pie for all the hard work and effort they do in bringing us great shows on television like Earl.

Alyssa Milano is also encouraging people to get out there and vote. It looks like John Edwards for president is getting a big boost from Alyssa’s corner, because Alyssa Milano’s leading canidate for President is John Edwards. Other canidates that she likes is Joe Biden, Bill Richardson, and Denis Kucinich. I think John Edwards would be a solid choice for President and think they will be a lot of support for him. It’s always great to have star power on your side in polictics and Alyssa Milano is a big star to have in John Edwards corner.

Alyssa Milano will be in a movie that is coming out in the near future. A release date hasn’t been said yet, but the name of the movie is Wisegal. Wisegal is a movie that is based on a true story. The true-life story of a woman with two sons and trying to put food on the table for them, she ends up taking a job with the mafia. When some of the fellows in the mob start to influence her two sons, is when she tries to get out. It’s not always that easy and trying to get out of the mob could be deadly. I can’t wait to see this new movie with Alyssa Milano in it and I’m not even sure if it’s a big screen movie or just a movie that will come on television. So be sure to be on the look out for Wisegal with Alyssa Milano in it!

Old Coke Commericals

Do you remember the old Coca Coal commercials? Coke did a commercial back in 1970 called “I’d Like To Buy the World A Coke”. This was a pretty popular commercial for it’s time.

1970 I’d Like To Buy the World A Coke

In 1984 they remade the famous commerical. This was a Christmas version of the “I’d Like To Buy the World A Coke.

1984 Christmas Version

Now one of my favorite Coke commericals was done back in 1979 when Mean Joe Greene of the Pittsburgh Steelers was limping to the locker room and he got stopped by a young boy.

1979 Mean Joe Greene Commercial

Those are some of my favorite old Coke commericals. They are probably some more that I just don’t remember. Since it’s the Christmas time of the year, here’s another great Christmas commercial for the holidays!

Holidays Are Coming!

Have a great and safe Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas! HO HO HO

The Family Guy

One of my favorite cartoons (next to the Simpsons) is the Family Guy. If you have never seen this cartoon before, you owe it to your self to sit down and watch it one day. You will laugh and laugh some more. It’s a great cartoon and I never really thought it was that funny, when it was originally aired. I got the chance to watch some of the shows after they were in syndication and I haven’t stopped yet.

The charcters is what makes the show go. The little town they live in, is called Quahog, Rhode Island. Peter Griffith is the man of the household and he reminds me of Al bundy in some ways with a little Hommer Simpson in him. Lois is Peter’s wife and she’s a hoot too! The kids are Meg, Chris and the loveably Stewie. The Griffith’s dog is Brian and he talks too!

Just a great cartoon for the adults to sit back and watch sometime. If You have neer seen Family Guy, then just stop everything you’re doing right now and go find it on the tube. It’s guranteed to make you laugh!!

Archie Bunker Lyrics

Have you ever just sat down and listen to the lyrics from the theme song of All In the Family? The one where Archie and Edith are sitting at the piano and they’re singing the song together. If you have, you probably don’t understand one line in the song. This line has became very popular over the years and people want to know what the two say in the song. After the first couple of seasons of All In the Family, they changed the song a bit, so you could hear the lyrics more clearly, because so many people was wanting to know what it was they were singing about.

Now to refresh your memory a bit, the song starts out as: “Boy the way Glen Miller played; songs that made the hit parade. Guys like us we had it made, those were the days.” From there the song goes to: “And you knew who you were then. Girls were girls and men were men. Mister we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again.” So the song was pretty clear and plain and you should have understood everything in the song to this point. Now the song goes to: “Didn’t need no welfare state. Everybody pulled his weight. ____________________ Those were the days.” Do you know what they were singing in the blank? Don’t feel bad if you don’t know, because most people have never learned just what Archie and Edith Bunker were singing in their All In the Family theme song.

Now to fill in the blank above, the actual lyrics are: “Gee Our Old LaSalle Ran Great“. The LaSalle was a car that was made by Cadillac from 1927 to 1940. During the time period between 1927 t0 1940 the LaSalle by Cadillac was one of the top luxury cars on the market.

las32c.jpg

This is a LaSalle and it was a car like this that Carroll O’Connor and Jean Stapleton was singing about on All In the Family. They were just saying that their old LaSalle ran great and added “gee” to the begining of the line. All In the Family was a great television show that ran for 9 seasons (1971-1979) and can still be seen today. Gloria (Sally Struthers) and Mike (Rob Reiner) were the other two characters on the show. Later on Archie Bunker’s Place was spun off and the show continued up to 1983 and completed an amazing 306 episodes. The Jeffersons were also a spin off of All In the Family and Sherman Hemsley’s character (George Jefferson) was said to be a black Archie Bunker.

Didn’t need no welfare state, Everybody pulled his weight.
Gee our old LaSalle ran great. Those were the days.

Beverly Hillbillies

I love watching the Beverly Hillbillies. I think that is one of the funniest shows that has ever been made. I like to see a country family from the hills move to the luxuries of Beverly Hills. I would love to have the money to live out in Beverly Hills or in Malibu, where you have all the famous rock stars, athletes, and movie stars that live out there. They also have all the drug rehabs out there to accommodate the rich and famous. I guess no matter how rich or famous you might be, we are all vulnerable to the powers of drugs.

Money is a drug to me and I don’t think Jed Clampett or Granny ever got the taste of that drug. What makes the Beverly Hillbillies so funny is the fact they still lived their lives, as if they were still in the hills of Tennessee. You never seen the family really take advantage of all the millions of dollars they had. It seem like Jethro with his 6th grade education had the most use of Jed’s millions, but he never really went overboard either. I’m sure there are bankers out there that see the show and are envious of Mr. Drysdale. I guess all bankers would love to have someone with millions of dollars in their bank, but never any reasons to spend all that money.

The theme song from the Beverly Hillbillies is a very catchy tune that I’m sure most people in your office could sing along, if you started belching out the lyrics. I think a sitcom that is funny and has a great theme song will survive for many years. It’s been many decades since the Beverly Hillbillies have been made and you can still see the show running on TBS (the Superstation) or a network like TV Land. I would imagine the show will be on for many generations to come. I would also guess that the people that created the show and starred in the show could have never imagined that it would still be as popular as it is so many years later.

A TV Worth Watching

As Christmas rolls near, many shoppers are going to be attracted to all the television sets that are in the electronic sections of the store. They just stick out like a soar thumb and even if you’re not looking to buy a tv; they still seem to catch everyone’s eye. It’s no wonder when you get a glimpse of a big screen television or one of those sharp HDTV, you can see why they become eye-candy to so many. If you’re looking for a television and since they are so many to choose from, be sure to do your homework. Research some of the different brands and types of tvs you would like to own. You can find good information online and Krillion is a good place that can help you find a tv and a store nearby to purchase it at. Be sure to use all the valuable information they have so you can buy a tv worth watching! You might just find your dream television at the best price possible too!

Different Strokes-Whatchatalkinabout?

The catch phrase that made Gary Coleman famous as Arnold on Different Strokes is once again on the tube. In my local area there is a television station called Peachtree TV and it is showing the Different Strokes reruns. I have been watching them lately and I haven’t seen these shows since they was on in the 1980’s. It’s amazing to watch these episodes and see just how out-dated some of the lingo and talk is for today’s times. The show lost some of its luster as the actors and actresses got older, but when they were young it was magic back then. I even think Webster was a spin-off of Different Strokes and how you had a black kid with white parents. Webster was played by Emanuel Lewis and he makes his home in Georgia. I just wonder if Webster has found the time to tune in and see some of these episodes of Different Strokes.

I never seen it as a kid, but Conrad Bain the guy that played Phillip Drummond was really a boring dad. He really wasn’t that much fun as a father or even cool back then, but you still see Arnold and Willis look up to him like a real dad. I don’t think its very believeable for them to show him so much respect and he really isn’t even that hip of a daddy. I still like to watch these old episodes though and it takes me down memory lane again.

Alyssa Milano Makes Debut on My Name Is Earl

7842_l1010175.jpg

After Alyssa Milano made her September 6th announcement on her blog, about having a role on My Name Is Earl, she made her debut on October 25th. She visited the prison that Earl was being held at, to visit another prisioner that is a buddy of Earl’s. She came in with a bang as she had a skimpy police uniform on, when she made her visit. The young girl that played Samantha Miceli on Who’s the Boss didn’t waste no time in growing up in Earl. She was using curse words and it was a far cry from her role on Who’s the Boss. Even Earl got to see a picture of her nude and where a certain tattoo was placed in a very private area.

I think she is going to be good for the popular NBC hit My Name is Earl. It’s a great show for anyone that has never watched it before. Earl tries to help all his friends out around him and he takes a simple approach to solving most things. Alyssa’s character is named “Billie” and I think her presence is going to increase the viewership for that show. It should be interesting to see where her character goes from here, because she has broken off her relationship with the other prisioner. Earl tore the nude picture in half and only kept the top part of it, where it only shows Billie’s face as the show was going off Thursday Night. The next episode will be at 8PM Eastern Time on November 1st, and the show airs on NBC.

Bionic Woman on NBC

Have you had a chance to watch the Bionic Woman yet? It comes on NBC on Wednesday Nights and comes on at 9PM. It’s not that bad of a show, but it’s very different from the original one. Jamie Summers is the name of the Bionic Woman and that’s about the only part that has stayed the same. You don’t get to hear those cool sound effects when she uses her bionic skills like you had with the original series. Also we have another bionic woman that is more powerful than Jamie Summers right now.

It was pretty good last week. She had to go rescue a hostage in a foreign country. So they flew her down with a CIA agent and they broke into the place where the hostage was being held. She had to stop this big fan that was in the wall and bend its blade back to go through it. This fan wasn’t like your normal ceiling fans and it was more like an industrial fan you would find at a factory. She was a little nervous before she stopped the blades from turning, but eventually she stuck her bionic arm out there and stopped this huge fan. I do like the show a little better now, compared to when it first came out. I just don’t like the fact that it’s different from the original one, but if you never watched the original one; you should enjoy this one just fine!

Bionic Woman

Well NBC showed it’s new show the bionic woman on Wednesday night. It was an average debut and the 3 or 4 really good scenes that were there, had already been shown in the previews. So they will be some pressure on this show to deliver on it’s 2nd epidsode and maybe they can cut the good scenes out of the previews. I haven’t seen any previews for the coming week so I don’t know what they are showing right now. I’m sure I will get to see these soon before Wednesday gets here.

I’m not sure I’m sold on the concept of the show. In the old Bionic Woman and 6 Million Dollar Man, I don’t recall anyone being as powerful as Lindsay Wagner or Lee Majors. NBC’s new show the Bionic Woman is having another female on the show, who is just as powerful or more powerful than the Bionic Woman. The other one is up to no good and will be the enemy, so you get to root for the good Bionic Woman. I will give the show another episode to jump to too many conclusions, but I think it would be best only to have 1 bionic woman and no one else close to her bionic powers.

Kid Nation Episode 2

Well I watched another episode of Kid Nation and still not quite sure what to think about the show. I was amazed at the chicken scene though and I guess the 15 year-old kid did indeed chop off the chicken’s head. Now there was so many young people around watching that chicken get its head cut off and it makes me wonder why they didn’t show that on television. The camera turned away from the actual chopping, but you did get to see the kids reactions right when it did happen.

I thought Michael was a great choice for the gold star. Make that bad kid keep working hard, but it appears he’s gonna flip during the 3rd episode (judging by the previews I saw). So I think the council made a good decision there.

What’s up with the green team? They seem to be in a lot of trouble and the youngest team (yellow) keeps beating them in competitions. The water-piping match was a fair one, but you just get the feeling any future competitions will be controlled by the blue team. I think the producers messed up by not telling the kids they would be competing against each other and I think the 40 kids could have got in teams that were much fairer. The kids had a great way of dividing everyone up, but if they knew what was in front of them, they would have never put all the young kids in the same group. Ok, I guess I will have to tune in at least one more week and watch that 15 year-old kid pitch a fit, because he didn’t win the gold star. Hopefully he gets kicked off the show or decides he wants to go home at the next town meeting.

Disneys High School Musical

One of the more popular shows that is on the Disney Channel is High School Musical. It’s been made for television and the kids have been tuning-in all over the country. There is a tour that’s been going around and performing the musical to live audiences. If you have had any troubles getting your High School Musical tickets, then check with Ticket Solutions to see if they can help. They have tickets to a lot of the shows that are all over the country. You can also find tickets with them, for shows that are sold out. So if you want to see this musical in person and you need a ticket, see if Ticket Solutions can find them for you! Some tickets can be found in Canada too.

Kid Nation on CBS

Well the controversial show had its debut last night and it was something different to watch on tv, that’s for sure. The show is called Kid Nation and they get 40 kids together and put them out in the middle of no where. It’s a place where life has failed before from adults and now we get to see if kids can thrive in this place in New Mexico.

In the show the kids don’t get to vote each other off, so it’s different from other reality shows. The kids can stay as long as they want and every 3 days there is a town hall meeting and the kids can decide then if they want to leave or not. Also at these town hall meetings the kids get to discuss all their situations and the town council gets to pick one lucky person to receive a gold star. The gold star is worth 20,000 dollars in real money that the kids will be able to have after their 40 day adventure.

I like the show in terms that it is something different to watch on tv. It is a reality show, but it’s one with a unique twist and makes it worth watching from that standpoint. I’m not sure how many people will continue to watch this show all season long, but I would say they had a big audience last night to show their product to. Not a lot of good things were on television last night in the 8PM slot, so Kid Nation got seen by many. I do think the show might have gone a little too young in their participants and that might be what turns a lot of people away from the show. I think if they would have focused on high school age kids, the results could be a lot better. Maybe taking 5 girls and 5 boys from the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade would be a better cast of characters, than the whiney bunch they have now. Don’t get me wrong, I realize the conditions are tough, but the first night of the show, when the temperatures dropped at night and they were hungry, a lot was ready to quit then. I am only left to believe that the shows producers and people working behind the scenes has made life much more comfortable for them now, because the attitudes had changed tremendously on day 2.

I have got the DVR set to record all episodes of Kid Nation as of right now. I will watch another show or two, but I have my doubts if I will watch the full season of Kid Nation. Great idea by CBS, but I think the cast is a little too young for the conditions they are facing. So much so, that controversy has been preached from a lot of levels and many of the parents can’t comment right now, because of confidentiality agreements they have made with the show. Should be interesting to get the parents take on this show, once the season has ended.

My Name Is Earl

Has anyone watch the show that comes on NBC and goes by the name My Name Is Earl? It sounds like a pretty good sit com to watch they are going to be having a 1 hour show coming up later this month. September 27th is when the show will be doing it’s 1 hour season premiere and I will be tuning in to check it out. There is going to be a new actress on the show for the new season, as I assume Alyssa Milano will be making her debut on the show in late September. If not, she is scheduled to play a part of a parole officer and her character should bring more viewers to the show.

If you have watch this show on NBC, then please let me know your thoughts about it. I just watched Who Wants to be a Millionaire today and one of the questions was asking “Earl has a nickname and it’s the same nickname that his business is on the show; what is that nickname?” If you think you know the answer to this, then leave a reply and I will let you know if your right or not. I would give the multiple choices, but I can’t remember them all. It was one of those questions on the show for a low amount of money, so I’m sure for anyone that has watched the show before, knows Earl’s nickname. Alyssa….If you’re looking in right now, then feel free to guess the answer too!

My Favorite Comedy Shows

MSN did an interesting story on the comedy shows you’re not watching. They feel they made a list of some of the best comedy shows out there that are not getting watched by the public. Here is a list of some of the shows that made their list:

Monk (USA)

Flight of the Conchords (HBO)

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia (FX)

Best Week Ever (VH1)

Moral Orel (Cartoon Network)

Reno 911 (Comedy Central)

Kathy Grffin: My Life on the D List (Bravo)

My Boys (TBS)

Now are their any shows up above that you watch regularly? What about any that you might have seen once or twice? Let me know which shows you watch or have watched and your thoughts on them. Is there any show that is listed above that we should really be watching? If there is, then please explain why and what makes you like the show so much.

I have seen a partial episode of the Monk. I did remember liking that show and it might be one on the list that I should be watching. Monk’s character is pretty smart from what I can remember, but he had some type of fear or something that made his character funny. I will have to search for it and record the next episode that comes on, so I can relook at Monk.

Now I have heard of My Boys on TBS. I watch a lot of the Braves baseball games that come on television and see the advertisements for that show. I have never sat down and watched My Boys, but have seen some small clips from the show. It might be one that I will have to record also and see what the MSN story is talking about when it comes to this show.

I have seen Reno 911 a couple of times. It’s been some time since I have seen the show, but it seemed a little too silly for me. The show might be better to watch now since they released their movie on the big screen. It might be a show that I need to watch again if they have changed it up any.

I have never seen or even heard of Flight of the Conchords. I don’t have HBO, so watching this show would be difficult. Now if this show is really good and worth watching, then I would have no problems to subscribing to the HBO network. So let me know if this show is worth an extra 10 bucks on the monthly satellite bill.

Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a show that I’m not familiar with. So any fans of this show or people that have seen it before, can let me know what this one is about. It could be a show that I might enjoy watching and have just never gave it the chance. The same can be said for the rest of the shows like Best Week Ever, Moral Orel, and the show with Kathy Griffin ( My Life on the D List). The cartoon one in Moral Orel is a religious type show or based with religion in that cartoon. It was also mentioned in the same breath as South Park and the Simpsons, so it might be an off-beat type of cartoon show that might not be suitable for children.

Just be sure to let me know of any information if you have on these shows and I look forward to your replies. TV for the Whole Family

If you’re looking for a better way to watch television and maybe you are searching for a cable or satellite provider to bring you a better way to watch tv. It would be helpful to compare all the companies out there and see who is offering the best package for your needs. Comcast has a great special going on with comcast bundles.

Now these bundles from Comcast can give you more than just a lot of great channels to watch on the tube. Which I guess in some cases we don’t have a “tube” anymore with all the flat screen televisions out there now, but that is another discussion for another day. High Speed Internet and Comcast Digital Voice  is a couple of things that you can bundle with your television package. If Comcast is available in your area, then you might want to give them a look before you decide to go with another cable company or a satellite provider. Getting the most bang for your buck is the goal when you are making decisions on your family’s viewing entertainment.

If you are still using dial up, then going to high speed is a must! You are wasting too much time waiting for pages to load on the internet, when you can save that time by upgrading to the high speed internet world. There is no way I could ever go back to dial up after getting use-to the high speed internet services I get currently. Comcast offers you the ability to add high speed internet with your television services and you will only have one bill. It’s the same thing with the phone service they offer. If you take Comcast up on their Triple Play offer, then you will only have 1 bill for the tv, phone, and computer. It’s a very convenient way to pay for everything each month.
