All of these great songs and Michael Jacksonwas the 1980′s. Even though MJ would tarnish his career later on, he was the man in the 80′s and his musical videos are legendary. There was no one in the 1980′s music era producing better videos than Michael Jackson. Even today, his music videos stand above any other musical artists or bands. There use to be a time when MTV played nothing but music videos. Those days are long gone now and I’m not even sure MTV plays videos anymore. I don’t think we will ever see a generation like the 1980′s again in music.
Did you like any of the songs I like from the 80′s? Which were some of your favorite songs from the greatest decade of music ever? Please help me to remember some of the songs from the 1980s musical generation. I know I probably left off some good songs, so I want to be sure I get them listed too!
Some artists or bands had more than 1 great song. I only put a song for each artist, so didn’t include all of the great songs they did. Like Duran Duran for instance, they had The Reflex and Hungry Like the Wolf. Both were great 1980′s songs, but I felt The Reflex was my favorite song by them. Pink Floyd had Another Brick in the Wall and Comfortably Numb. I actually like Comfortably Numb better, but felt like Another Brick in the Wall was a more popular song. A band like Guns N’ Roses had a ton of hits in the 80′s, so they would hog up a lot of space, if I named all of their great songs. So try to find a artist or band in which I didn’t name at least one song from them. I know I am missing some really great songs, since there was so many great songs from the 1980′s.
The New MGM HD Channel
by Chris Padgett on Aug.08, 2010, under Favorite Singer
We have a new channel on our dish package we get each month. The new channel is called MGM HD. They show some pretty good movies there. One thing I like about this new channel, they will show 1 commercial per movie. You can usually watch about 30 minutes to 1 hour of a movie (commercial free) and then they give you a bathroom break in the middle, so you can go take care of something else, if you need to.
I have seen some older movies on there, that I haven’t seen in a long time. One movie I have never seen before was a movie called The Last Waltz. It’s a story about a group of guys that made up a rock group called The Band. They had a goodbye party; which included some other famous names performing on stage with them for the final time. People like Neil Diamond, Van Morrison, and Muddy Waters were just a few of the famous acts they had appearing with them on stage. I believe the movie is from 1978 and it was a interesting movie to watch. Not your typical movie, but one that I think 70′s music lovers would like.
Have you seen the new TV channel called MGMHD? Even if you don’t have a high definition receiver or box on your TV, you still should be able to get the MGM HD television channel. I’m not sure if the satellite guys plan to keep this channel on our subscription package or if we are just getting a free preview for it. I think its been on for the last 3 or 4 weeks, so if it is a preview, it’s an extended one. Go check your satellite channels out and see if you do have the new movie channel to watch. On my TV its located in the high 300′s; so just go to channel 400 and go back and you should run into it.
Favorite Places to Use the iPod
by Chris Padgett on Dec.05, 2009, under Favorite Singer
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Yamaha. All opinions are 100% mine.
The technology of today is so much better than the things we had just a few years back. Anything that begins with an “I” seems to make our lives easier and it’s been a big move up the entertainment ladder for those that have took advantage of the “I” technology. It started with the “Internet” and the latest things like iPods and iPhones are the latest craze in this “I” whirlwind we are in. I hope to get an iPhone soon, but I have took full advantage of the iPods. I am on my 3rd iPod now and it’s because they keep making these tech gadgets better. My favorite place to use my iPod is on the computer. I just plug it in and no one around me can hear the music I am listening to. The music is what I like best about the iPods, but I have a feeling I will adapt to the latest features that come on the iPods being produced right now. Where’s your favorite places for watching TV, videos, or just listening to the tunes on your iPod?

There is a great sound system you can get for the times you use your iPhone or iPod. The Yamaha PDX-60 is loaded with goodies and it can amp your sound for music or other things. It’s perfect for matching up sound with videos and is just one of the many great features this tech gadget from Yamaha offers. I also like the fact that it comes in a variety of colors, so you can match it up to the color of your iPod or iPhone. It comes with a 2 way recharging system too and this will come in handy for a lot of folks. The ability to recharge one iPod on the speaker platform and it comes with a cradle, so you could recharge a 2nd iPod! The people with iPhones will have the double recharge ability too. This unit does offer remote features and this makes it much easier to use. It’s just loaded with features for the kids and adults that use the “I” technology daily. I think it would make a great Christmas gift this year and especially to those folks that are always needing to recharge an iPhone or iPod.

This Is It – New Michael Jackson Movie
by Chris Padgett on Oct.28, 2009, under Favorite Singer

Today will be the start of a big two week event for the fans of Michael Jackson. His new movie called This Is It will be playing in theaters across the country for the next two weeks. I’m not sure exactly how this new Michael Jackson movie will go, but it appears to be mostly of footage that was taken at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Jackson was doing rehearsals in L.A.; while he was preparing to go on tour in Europe for his last concert tour called This Is It. I’m sure many Michael Jackson fans will be showing up at theaters to catch the first showing of Michael Jackson’s new movie called This Is It.
The new Jackson movie will be shown in theaters tonight (October 28th) and will run for the next two weeks. Going by this current time frame, I would guess that on November 11th, 2009; this would be your last chance to see the new Michael Jackson movie in theaters. It is a bit unusual to start a new movie in the middle of the week, but this should help theaters to have enough room this weekend, as the rest of the Michael Jackson fans line up to see his new movie. The end date also falls in the middle of the week and November 11th will be on a Wednesday, but this would be two weeks from today. If the schedule calls for 2 weeks or 14 days only; then Tuesday November 10th might be the last time you can see the new Michael Jackson tribute. If you really want to see this movie, you may want to make plans between now and November 10th, so you don’t miss it!

150K Reward for Missing Virginia Tech Student

The Virginia Tech Student who went missing October 17 from a Metallica concert remains missing. Efforts have been stepped up for the search of Morgan Harrington; who is 20 years old and was last seen at a concert. The last known contact with Morgan is when she made a cell phone call from outside the arena to her friends inside, letting them know she would find her own way home. Now it’s 9 days later and still no sign or word from the young college student and she hasn’t found her way home. Her mother helped her pick out a outfit to wear to the Metallica concert and it still remains the last piece of clothing she was known to have worn.

If you have seen her or might know where she is at; then please contact your local authorities immediately. There is a lot of people worried and trying to find this 20 year old VA Tech student and her safe return is what a lot of people are hoping for at this point. It still remains a mystery to what exactly has happen to Morgan Harrington. As each day passes with no word, the more family, friends, searchers, and the authorities began to think of worse case scenarios. If you’re able to pick up a phone; then please contact your family as soon as possible. A lot of pain and heartache is going on right now as everyone is desperately doing everything they can to find her.
Metallica Offers $50,000 Reward

A great sign of support is coming from the rock band Metallica as they join the FBI in the hunt for Morgan Harrington. They are pledging 50 thousand dollars of their own money to help find Morgan. There was already a reward fund of $100,000 before the Metallica addition, so the current reward stands at $150,000 for anyone that can help find Morgan Harrington; who was last seen at a Metallica concert being held at John Paul Jones Arena in Virginia. You can call your local authorities for any information you have or call 434-352-3467 for direct contact with the people searching for Morgan Harrington.

Paula Abdul Out of Touch with America

American Idol fans might be shocked when the show comes back for a new season. One of the popular judges on the American Idol panel is Paula Abdul and she won’t be coming back for another season. The reason she isn’t coming back is because of greed. It was all about money and apparently Paula isn’t aware of the current economic crisis this country is facing right now.
Fans use to love her and she was the one that kept Simon in-line or her words represented the fans better than the other American Idol judges. She was good for the show, but her fans won’t like knowing that her absence will be directly related to money. Paula Abdul thought she was worth 10 million dollars and that her valuable judging skills deserved this type of income. Most Americans will not make 1 million dollars in their lifetime; yet Paula Abdul wanted this in one season!
We all know people associated with the entertainment world do make big bucks. We have learned to accept this as a society and it’s our dollars that keep paying these outrageous paychecks to stars. When we visit concerts, the movie theaters, or sports arenas; we are setting the pay for these entertainment professionals that do make the big bucks. These people will only get pay cuts; when we stop visiting these places and that is happening right now. Americans are being laid off from their jobs and times are hard right now for most people trying to make ends meet. Lots of people are struggling each day to keep their homes or just to get food on the kitchen table.
Now comes along a popular star like Paula Abdul and we see 6 or 8 million dollars is not enough for her. She expects 10 million for her services that really isn’t that important in the grand schemes of life. Her greed isn’t good for today’s times and I’m glad the American Idol creators and producers elected to pass on her demands. We should all stand up and support the American Idol folks for turning away Paula Abdul. We must make these people understand that times are hard and things have changed now. It isn’t like it was yesterday and we all have to make new adjustments. Paula Abdul isn’t worth 10 million dollars and most of her shows were done while intoxicated. There isn’t many jobs in America you can show up to each day and earn millions of dollars from and be drunk while you do it. This is what Paula Abdul has been doing for years and it’s good to know that we can get a new judge on the show, that will probably appreciate the opportunity more than Paula Abdul did.

Hey Deliah by Alex
The YouTube Sensation that goes by the name Alex is continuing to sing away over at You Tube. She has an impressive amout of videos she has uploaded and one of her latest ones is the song Hey Deliah. This is a classic song and Alex did a great job singing it. If you can sing this song; please feel free to upload your own version singing this great song and I would love to hear it.
You can see more of Alex’s videos at my other blog Single Source Writing. I have a category there called Alex YouTube and there you can see dozens of the videos this Mexican teen has uploaded at YouTube. Most of them feature her great singing talents and she has taken the You Tube Nation by storm over there. Her friends and people subscribing to her videos increases daily and she has created a huge fan base at You Tube.
Continue to keep an eye on this rising star from Mexico. Alex is only creating a buzz at You Tube for now, but soon I’m sure her talents will take her to new places. It should be fun to watch this rising star continue to shine bright! Pretty soon we will have to compare Alex to the Energizer Bunny, because she just keeps going and going and going…
New Bruce Springsteen Sale
by Chris Padgett on Feb.17, 2009, under Favorite Singer
Do you like to find good deals on music? Anyone that is looking for the new Bruce Springsteen album will be in luck if they choose to buy it at Buy.com. They have a lot of low prices on a variety of things, but I thought the new Bruce Springsteen CD was really good. We just saw Springsteen perform the halftime show at this year’s Super Bowl in Tampa Bay. He put on a good show and was promoting his new album in Florida at the Super Bowl. I have a feeling his new music will be really popular. Not only does the Super Bowl feature Bruce Springsteen, but Buy.com is stocking up on his music too and this new album will be in demand.
You can check other places online and compare prices, but I think I will get my Springsteen music from Buy.com. These guys always have a sale going on and they have just about anything you would want. I always like to check in each day to see what the “Deal of the Day” is for today. You can also see other items in their “Featured Deals” and currently they have a vacuum cleaner, an Xbox 360 wireless controller, a video card from PNY GeForce, a Samsonite notebook case, and a storage binder for your CD’s and DVD’s. This is just a few of the items that are listed there and you can find other cool merchandise in this section or throughout the entire Buy.com website.
I love a sale and Bruce Springsteen’s new CD Working on a Dream is at a good price! It just came out on January 27th, 2009; so this is your chance to be the first one in the neighborhood to own it. It’s the 16th album he has made and they are a lot of great songs on it. After you get a chance to listen to it, please come back here and let me know what you thought. We know Bruce was the Boss in the 20th century; let’s see if he’s still got it in the 21st century.
Favorite Christmas Songs
by Chris Padgett on Nov.29, 2008, under Favorite Singer
What are your favorite Christmas songs? They are a lot of popular ones to choose from and not sure I could just pick one song as my favorite. I know many of us like the traditional songs and these are the ones everyone knows the words to.
Silent Night
Jingle Bells
Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Deck the Halls
The 12 Days of Christmas
Frosty the Snowman
White Christmas
All of these great Christmas songs I consider classics and most people can sing a few lines to each one of these songs. Other popular Christmas songs that you hear playing on the radio a lot are: It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Mary Did You Know, Silver Bells, Blue Christmas, and Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer. I love hearing these songs on the radio and you get to hear them sung by many different singers. Some famous singers even put out holiday albums and will showcase all of the Christmas Carrols they sing well. Do you have a favorite artist when it comes to one that sings Christmas songs good? I always like the Statler Brothers and I thought a lot of their Christmas songs were good. They use to have a special that came out each year and you could hear them and other famous guests singing Christmas songs. I don’t think a Statler Brothers Christmas comes on anymore, but I have seen old episodes of the show appearing on RFD-TV. This is the station for rural America and RFD-TV is also the place that Imus in the Morning appears after losing his spot on the NBC networks. I like to watch this channel from time to time and I hope they show some more old episodes of the Statler Brothers Christmas this year.
A Favorite Christmas Song of Mine
Great song by Alabama and Christmas in Dixie is one of the songs I always stop and listen to when I hear it come on the radio or see it on television. Sometimes it just isn’t Christmas yet; until we hear one of our favorite Christmas songs being sung. I think this song and the one about a boy wanting a hippopotamus for Christmas are two of my favorite Christmas Songs that you may have never heard before. Do you have a favorite Christmas song that you think many have not heard before? Please be sure to let me know which Christmas songs you like best and which ones do you have to hear, before you consider it being Christmas time.

Number 1 Song by Tim McGraw

The number 1 Tim McGraw Song
Its took a while to get here, but the top Tim McGraw song is now official! Don’t Take the Girl was a super huge hit for Tim and this song was a big part to putting him on the country map. It sometimes just takes one song for people to know who you are. Some singers use that platform to create dozens of other songs but never seem to find the magic they had with that first big hit. This isn’t the case with Tim McGraw and he’s put out a lot of quality songs over the year. He had a great hit to launch his career but he didn’t rest there and continues today releasing hit after hit.
The song Don’t Take the Girl wasn’t Tim’s first song and was actually the 5th song he released. It was the first song that went to number 1 on the Hot Country Charts and this song is still being played on the radio today. This song talks about two young children to start with and how they grow up together through life. The man in the song has to ask various people along the way to not take the girl and it’s great the way a simple message works throughout their lives. If you never listened to the lyrics of Don’t Take the Girl, you really should sit down and listen to this story.
Don’t Take the Girl came out in April of 1994 and 14 years later it remains one of Tim McGraw’s finest songs. I hope you liked the top 10 countdown of Tim McGraw songs and I got your favorites on the list. He’s done a lot of really great songs since 1994, but to hear Johnny in the song asking people “don’t take the girl” is the top song ever by Tim McGraw. You can go back and review the other 9 songs in the countdown on my blog here and listen to the best songs from country superstar Tim McGraw.

See how many people out there remember this popular Tim McGraw song that he had a little help with!
2nd Best Tim McGraw Song
I’m sure many remember this great song from Tim McGraw that he got a little help from his beautiful wife Faith Hill. This song rose up the charts really fast and held it’s place for a long time and people just couldn’t get enough of this great song by Tim McGraw. 3rd Best Tim McGraw Song

The top 10 songs of Tim McGraw continue and there is only 3 songs left in the countdown. Superstar Tim McGraw has a ton of good songs and its hard picking out the best 10. So now it’s time to show the 3rd top song that Tim McGraw has in his arsenal of great songs!
3rd Best Tim McGraw Song
So at number 3 we find Please Remember Me by Tim McGraw and it’s a great slow song. Tim recorded this song in 1999 and added it to his album A Place in the Sun. The song did very well and even the young folks were dancing to this tune. It was a prom favorite for many and high schools all across the country were playing Please Remember Me at high school proms. I’m sure you can find lots of people with memories of this song at their high school proms. If you remember dancing with a high school sweetheart to this song at your high school prom; then please feel free to share your prom memories.
It’s hard to find a Tim McGraw song that is better sung or just better than Please Remember Me. I think I have found two more Tim McGraw songs that top this one and I will be sharing these in the near future, as I continue to work my way to the top Tim McGraw song of all time. Another song is revealed on the Tim McGraw countdown. I will be naming his 10 best songs ever and reserving the top overall Tim McGraw song for number 1. Here is the fourth best Tim McGraw song:
4th Best Tim McGraw Song
A great southern song that I think many people from the south and perhaps the midwest know the meaning of these lyrics. Down on the Farm by Tim McGraw is played at a lot of parties and it’s one of those songs that can get a whole crowd singing in a hurry. I have had my share of good times with this song and its one of my favorite Tim McGraw songs. This song came out in the early days and many people didn’t know who Tim McGraw was then. You can sure bet they know who he is now and he continues to be one of the top country artists today. Down on the Farm is a good example of a upbeat or dancing country song and it screams country music. If you can’t relate to this song; then you probably never had loud music at an outdoor party and having outdoor parties is the best. It seems the sky is the limit and you can yell and jump around all you want outside. I know it’s not real hard to get people dancing at an outdoor party when they hear a great country song like Down on the Farm. So without a doubt this is one of the top 10 songs by Tim McGraw and I think it’s a perfect fit at number 4.
That leaves us only 3 songs left in the countdown to showcase the top 10 songs ever by Tim McGraw. Make sure you check back soon and we can start knocking off the top 3 songs by country superstar Tim McGraw. You can go back and check out the other 6 songs besides this one by clicking on Favorite Singer (located on the left sidebar) and all of the Tim McGraw songs will be listed under that heading on my blog.

These are the top 10 Tim McGraw songs and I am working my way in order, until I get the very best Tim McGraw song ever! So enjoy number 5 on the countdown now:
5th Top Tim McGraw Song
This is one of my favorite songs by Tim McGraw. He hit a homerun with the song Everywhere and others thought so too, because it was number 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles and Tracks chart. I love songs that talk about American cities or states and obviously like the fact he used Georgia in this song (Down in Georgia picking them peaches). Everywhere by Tim McGraw is a song about love and how we see so many things in our everyday life that reminds us of a loved-one. This song was being played on all the country radio stations when it came out and it’s off the album that shares the same name of the song (Everywhere).
Do you agree that Everywhere is one of Tim’s top 10 songs? I have 4 more really good songs by Tim McGraw, so if your favorite Tim McGraw song hasn’t popped up yet, chances are it will. It gets tough trying to put all of these great songs in proper order and I’m sure we all have different opinions on how they should be ranked. 6th Best Tim McGraw Song
by Chris Padgett on Oct.23, 2008, under Favorite Singer
The 6th song in the Tim McGraw Countdown will make up half of the greatest songs ever by country star Tim McGraw. So sit back and relax; here is the 6th best song by Tim McGraw for your listening pleasures.
6th Best Tim McGraw Song
A great song from Tim McGraw and Live Like You Were Dying is certainly worthy of a top 10 nod in this countdown. The song is about a man in his 40′s and he gets diagnosed with a life-threatening disease. The man then starts thinking about things like fishing, sky diving, bull riding and rock climbing and how you would approach these things if you were dying. The dying man also reflects on his relationship with his wife and begins reading the Bible and forgives those he held grudges against. It’s a good song with a powerful message behind it.
The video to Tim McGraw’s song Live Like You Were Dying has a sad and true-life message at the end. Tug McGraw the MLB Pitcher is the daddy of Tim McGraw and he threw the last pitched strike for the Philadelphia Phillies when they won the World Series in 1980. The Phillies has won only 1 World Series in their team history and it was Tug McGraw that pitched that infamous final strike. Tug McGraw was diagnosed with a brain tumor and doctors gave him 3 weeks to live back in 2003. He beat those odds and actually lived another 9 months and passed away on January 5th of 2004. The official video to this song by Tim McGraw shows a real life highlight of that final pitch by Tug McGraw. This is a great song and a powerful message too but the video with Tug McGraw just makes it that much better. I’m sure this is one of the songs Tim is most grateful for and we all lost a daddy, a friend and a team mate back in 2004. It is interesting to see the Philadelphia Phillies back in the World Series in 2008 and should be fun to watch how far this team can go.
So the countdown is now half way done and the best of the best are still to come. You can go back and see what the best Tim McGraw Songs have been selected to this point. I will be announcing the 5 best Tim McGraw songs from here on out. Feel free to always reply and let me know how I am doing and even name your own favorite Tim McGraw songs.

The top 10 songs by Tim McGraw are being featured on my blog and these songs are based on popularity, personal taste and just how well they did when they first came out. So with that said, let me tell ya about number 7!
7th Best Tim McGraw Song
Great song by Mr. McGraw!
Tim mentions Labor Day at the beginning of this song, but I remember this song around the 4th of July. I think it’s a perfect 4th of July song and if you have a Jeep and riding it around on our country’s birthday with no top, you want to be playing a song like this. Something Like That was a big song by Tim McGraw and it’s an upbeat song that pumps you up to dance or just drive fast with the wind blowing through your hair.
How do you rate Tim’s song Something Like That? Do you think this song is a top 10 worthy candidate for this countdown? It’s hard to find information on this song and it hasn’t climbed too high on any charts, but I think it was a song that deserved to be here and I believe this is the 7th best Tim McGraw song!

Tim McGraw: Number 8 Song
by Chris Padgett on Oct.10, 2008, under Favorite Singer
The Tim McGraw Countdown continues and I will be posting the country superstar’s biggest songs over the next few weeks. I have already got the first two songs taken care of and now it’s time for number 8 on the countdown.
8th Best Tim McGraw Song
Just to show how big of a star Tim McGraw is you can look at this song and see how he got together with a big R&B star like Nelly and made this great song work. Both musical talents did well with this song Over and Over Again and it was a big hit on the charts and in other countries too. It peaked at number 1 in Australia and in the UK given both artists world-wide fame. Tim has had other songs do well overseas and it’s not like this was the song that introduced him to the world, but it is another great song that has landed Tim McGraw as one of the best country music singers ever.
The thing that makes this song so catchy are the lyrics and they say the chorus over and over again, just like the title of the song suggests. When you listen to the same lyrics over and over, it makes you more familiar with a song and this song does just that. I believe this song with Nelly is one of Tim’s top 10 songs of all time and was worthy of a spot in my top 10 countdown.
I have a good feeling you haven’t seen the last of someone else teaming up with the legendary Tim McGraw and he has had other mega hits, where he shared the vocals with someone else. He has the amazing ability to turn out songs of just him singing or to work with someone else and make the magic happen. I don’t think a lot of big time artists could do this and wouldn’t be able to work with another big star. Nelly has his own name and most would even say this is Nelly’s song and it just features Tim McGraw on it. I think this goes with the thing that has made him such a big star today and Tim McGraw doesn’t care about which name is first on the list and it probably wasn’t even a concern of his to be mentioned 2nd on this great song. Nelly has a good voice and does wonders for this song, but without Tim McGraw helping out, this song would never go to number 1 in places like the UK and Australia. Both men did a great job with Over and Over Again and I think they left their egos at the door and it allowed us fans to hear this catchy song. Well done gentlemen!
Don’t worry if you haven’t saw your favorite Tim McGraw song yet, because My Favorite Blank will show the best Tim McGraw songs ever and you will see your favorite Tim McGraw songs very soon!

I believe Amber is well on her way to being known and apparently I’m not the only one to think this way, because Old Navy is sponsoring her. Thanks to Old Navy you can download songs from Amber Ojeda online and it’s completely FREE! This lovely talent is not only pleasing to the eyes, but her songs are very soothing to the ears too. I love her song Get To Know Me and I think a lot of people that get a chance to see and listen to her, would love to get to know her. This song makes me think of a rainy cold day and you come in off the streets to a coffee shop and hear this song playing. I believe this song would create a great atmosphere as you sipped on a 5 dollar cup of coffee. Her amazing voice and relaxing sound is needed in a world that has so much stress in it today. It’s not often that you hear someone that can sing this well and has the ability to write her own lyrics for songs. Amber Ojeda has the total package and her popularity will reach much further than just the internet!
Please be sure to let me know what you think about the lovely Amber Ojeda. Is there a song that really stuck out to you? I wish Amber the best of luck for whatever the future might hold for her and I will be rooting for her from the sidelines! Go Amber!
9th Top Tim McGraw Song
by Chris Padgett on Oct.06, 2008, under Favorite Singer
The top 10 songs by Tim McGraw are being revealed on my blog here. I have already listed the 10th song in the countdown and now I am getting ready to show Tim’s 9th best song!
9th Best Tim McGraw Song
When the Stars Go Blue is a top 10 song of Tim McGraw. He added this hit to his 2006 album Tim McGraw Reflected: Greatest Hits Volume 2. This song has been done by a lot of other artists, but none of them seem to do it as well as Tim McGraw did. Tim’s version of this song really brings it out and I think it’s the gift that has made Tim McGraw a mega superstar in country music today. A great song with good lyrics can really be a song that will stand up over the years, when you have a popular singer to perform it.
The countdown is only 20 percent complete and more great Tim McGraw songs will be coming soon. Keep up with the top 10 songs by Tim McGraw on my blog here and you will find out the 10 best songs ever by Tim McGraw.
Top 10 Tim McGraw Songs
by Chris Padgett on Oct.03, 2008, under Favorite Singer
Tim McGraw has had his share of the spotlight and he’s came out with many songs that have been hits. He was first known as Tug McGraw Junior or the son of the professional baseball pitcher Tug McGraw. I think Tim has done a good job and pulled away from that name and has made a place with his own name. His music has crossed a lot of boundaries and many of his songs will still be playing on the radio decades from now. I think most of us would consider ourselves lucky to be the son of a former MLB Pitcher or be able to call our self the husband of Faith Hill. Tim McGraw has claim to both of these breaks and a music career that will last for generations to come. Tim McGraw might just be the luckiest man and it would be nice to have the chance to walk in his shoes for just one day. His music is still growing and he hasn’t pulled back from the public yet like Garth Brooks did several years ago. Tim McGraw might just pass Garth’s legacy in country music if he continues to blaze the trail like he has done.
Now Tim gets even more luck handed his way as he will have his top 10 songs featured on my blog. Actually I will only be doing 9 songs by Tim McGraw over the next several weeks, so I can start with a song that is not performed by Tim McGraw. The song is about Tim McGraw and if you’re doing a countdown for the man, you might as well get the 10 best songs that best describe the artist. I also think my 10th selection on the countdown will prove just how popular Tim McGraw is and show that he is worthy of a top 10 countdown.
So keep in touch over the days and weeks to come and I will be adding videos regularly until I get to the top Tim McGraw song ever! So let’s check out the first song to make the countdown for the Top 10 Songs by Tim McGraw.
10th Best Tim McGraw Song
So the Tim McGraw Countdown is off and running and he couldn’t even make number 10 on the countdown, because Taylor Swift took the time to do a song about him. So it’s Taylor’s song that gets the 10th spot this time, but you can be sure Tim’s vocal cords will be heard in this countdown. Taylor debuted with the song Tim McGraw in 2006 and this song made it up to number 6 on the Billboard Country Charts. Taylor has had 5 hits to be in the top 40 and she hasn’t done bad making a name for herself too. She is still very young and has a bright future ahead of her and she could be in the early stages of a female version to the great Tim McGraw.
Feel free to name some of your top Tim McGraw songs and which ones you think are the best ever. I will be posting the 9th best Tim McGraw song in the very near future and won’t stop until I reveal the best song ever by Tim McGraw.
