The Saw Movies

How do you like all of the Saw movies? I believe they have made 3 of them so far and they are all pretty entertaining. They certainly have cut their own cloth in the movie world and there really wasn’t anything like these movies, until Saw 1 had came out. I have just recently watched the 3rd part of the Saw movies and there is a lot of intense action in this movie. It doesn’t take long for the movie to get going and it pretty much doesn’t stop from the opening scenes. I think most now have seen the part with a man and his foot is shackled to a chain and he has a saw with him. The saw is too little to cut through the massive chain and the only thing that makes sense is for the person to saw off their own foot. That would take a lot of power to do something like that, but if that situation was really like that, all of us might have to cut off our own foot so we could survive. I know many of you are saying that you would never do that or be able to, but you just might if your life depended on it. The human spirit is very strong and we can take a lot of pain or muster up a lot of courage when our life is at stake. If you like those movies that give you body aches, because you see someone get hurt in a certain way, then Saw 3 leaves a lot to be desired. It’s a good movie and I think 1 and 3 are probably the best ones and Saw 2 wasn’t really that good in my opinion. If you have never seen any of these Saw movies before, you must go check one out. It’s truly a unique movie and it’s not like anything you have ever seen before from Hollywood.

Before Sunrise and Before Sunset

200px-before_sunrise_film.jpg

For all the romantics out there looking for a good movie to see, you might want to check out Before Sunrise. This is not a new movie and has been out for awhile. It came out in 1995 and tells a great love story of an American and a European that meet on a train one night and they spend the whole night getting to know each other. While they roam the streets in Vienna, they both know that their time together is limited. So with each one of them knowing that they will never see each other again; they slowly tell more about them selves than they normally would. For anyone that is in the romantic spirit and is looking for a good clean movie that has a great plot, this 1995 film by Richard Linklater is a good one to see.

The story doesn’t quite end right here and maybe it does leave us hanging just a bit. Any fans that like this movie are in luck, because the story doesn’t end on the movie Before Sunrise. Another sequel would follow this movie and it picks up 9 years later with this American and European love story.

200px-before_sunset_movie.jpg

The name of the 2nd part is called Before Sunset and this movie came out in 2004. In the story line, the 2nd part of the movie picks up 9 years later. This is actually true and this movie was released 9 years after the first one Before Sunrise. It gives fans of the first movie a chance to see if there is anyway two strangers living from such faraway places really can have a relationship. I think we all like to believe that there is somebody out there for us and they might not always be in the same town we live in or even the same country like these two movies demonstrate. Someone very special is out there for us all and I do believe that. You might not find them right away and it may take years and years of waiting, but I do believe when the right person comes along, you will know it and you will seize the opportunity. You might not have to go searching too hard either, because sometimes the best things in life are staring right at us and we just never take the time to notice. Keep your eyes open and be patient and one day; maybe your prince charming or princess will show up when you least expect them. Love is universal and it has no boundaries. When two people truly love each other there is nothing that will stop them from being together and either one is willing to sacrifice or do what it takes to be with the other one. Our time here is way too short when you compare it through the ages of our planet. Love existed yesterday and that has led us to today. We still have love in our lives today and as much as that means to us right now, there will also be more love to come tomorrow. So love has been around throughout the ages and its up to each one of us to find out what love is and what it means to us.

I’m sure there would have been many days in the 9 years apart that this American and European would have thought of each other and if your thinking about something too much, perhaps it is love. Time will only tell if true love exists, but when you do get to thinking about that special person and it makes you do all kinds of weird and strange stuff, I would say that you have been bitten by the love bug.

What’s the Next Big Movies Coming Out?

I am someone that gets in a “movie - watching - mood” and I am a little bit over due for sitting down and watching some good moives. I mainly just record them with the DVR and watch them at a later time. This way it saves me a lot of time, that I really don’t have much to spare right now. I rarely go to the movies to see the hottest movie that just came out, but was wondering if any movies were coming to VCR soon that would be a must-see movie. Please be sure to share any movies that you have watched recently and let me know any good ones to see. It doesn’t have to be new movies and if you recently saw a movie from 1970 or or 1980; then please let me know about them movies too.

When you record a movie on DVR, you can start to watch it and if it doesn’t look like its going to be any good or the story line is just too hard to follow; then you can delete it off the DVR and start up a new one. That’s what I like about the DVR and it comes in handy for catching up on all the good movies you haven’t seen yet. I usually just get the movies off the satellite channels and every month they feature new movies that will be coming on television. Since May is almost over and June will be here soon, I need to go ahead and get caught up on all the May movies that I haven’t seen yet, so I can be ready for the June movies. So it won’t be much longer, before I start popping the popcorn and laying back and catching up on some movies I haven’t seen yet. Be sure to let me know of a movie you watched recently, that you thought was really good and I will be sure I make time to sit down and watch it.

The Green River Killer

Recently on the Lifetime Network they showed the true story of The Capture of the Green River Killer. It portrays one of the most famous serial killers in American History. The man that police would spend 20 years looking for turned out to be Gary Ridgway. According to the movie on Lifetime, police had questioned him many years earlier, but didn’t find sufficient evidence to charge him with anything. As the years passed by and no suspects emerged as a good lead, the police would go back through their list of suspects. It seemed one dedicated detective Dave Reichert had his eye on Gary Ridgway, but could never come up with enough evidence to prosecute him of any crimes.

Gary Ridgway was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He had been married 2 times, but still craved prostitutes while still being married. He would go find these women on the streets and in most cases would choke them to death. He left a long trail of bodies and even today it’s not clear on just how many young women might have had their life cut short by the hands of Gary Ridgway. Since most of the women were prostitutes, the families were not aware of their daughters being gone and this probably help Ridgway through the years, since a lot of families weren’t demanding justices. The biggest pressure back in those days for the King County Sheriff’s Department in Washington was from the media. They were the ones that held the police accountable for no arrests in all the bodies that were being found in the early to mid 1980’s.

Ted Bundy was a very famous serial killer from the Northwestern part of the Untied States and his reign of terror had apparently ended by the time Gary Ridgway started leaving his trail of destruction. Two detectives working on the Green River Killer case even flew down to Florida, where Ted Bundy was waiting for the electric chair and some credit has been given to Bundy for advice and tips he left with detectives that day. In the movie The Capture of the Green River Killer, they have a great scene that leads up to to where Ted Bundy enters the case. One detective is talking to another one and lets him know that someone might have some good tips on this case and the other detective questions him and asks why this might just be another false lead. The detective replies “because he is currently serving a life sentence in Florida and he is a serial killer too”. It’s not like Gary Ridgway needed any help with his serial killings gaining all the notariety like it has over the years, but when you add in the Ted Bundy factor, it does become one of the most interesting stories of all time, when your talking about all the famous American serial killers of all time.

The final list that is out now has Gary Ridgway with 44 murdered victims and some of those have still not been found. His first victim is said to be Wendy Lee Coffield and she was only 16 years old. She was murdered on July 8th of 1982 and her body was discovered on July 15, 1982. There is 3 of the women that are age 31 or older, but the majority of women were in their teens and twenties and some as young as 15 years old.

If you like true stories and long movies, I highly recommend watching The Capture of the Green River Killer. It has been shown on the Lifetime Network a few times already and if you look for it there, it should be coming on again in the near future. The movie is 4 hours long and it’s a great way to tell the story, as you will get to see the story unfolding from one of the victim’s eyes and it’s like what she would be thinking if she did have a voice from beyond the grave.

Speed Racer Movie in Theaters Soon

speedracer_mach5_7.jpg

I’m sure there is thousands and thousands of kids and probably a few adults too, that is looking forward to the new movie that is coming out May 9th. I think Speed Racer will be the number 1 movie this week at the box office. Just seeing some of the previews to this movie, you can tell that they didn’t take any shortcuts to making this movie. Some of the scenes in the movie look really intense and all the fancy graphics is candy for the eyes.

Speed Racer promises to pack a punch, as movie watchers will get to see this mach 5 speed car light up the big screen. This vehicle has no limits and it will jump over trees and even go under water. I’m sure the folks that have to put up with rush hour traffic in the mornings and evenings on their way to and from work, would love to have a car that could do all of this! When Speed Racer is not racing, he still has an exciting life of battling villains with his kid brother Spritle, girlfriend Trixie and pet monkey Chim-Chim.

This movie does look like it will be filled with action from start to end. The main story line appears to center around the cross-country rally known as The Crucible. In the past this race took the life of Speed Racer’s brother Rex Racer. So with all the competition that is going on for Speed in this movie, he also has to battle the memories of his late brother. I think all kids of all ages will absolutely love this movie and all parents will need to make an effort to get their kids to the theaters this weekend to see the movie. I’m sure all the kids will be talking about the movie Speed Racer at school on Monday morning, so don’t let them give away any secrets to the movie and spoil it for your children. This movie will not be like the typical movie for kids and adults will enjoy this one as much as the younger folks. It appears to be a movie like Shrek that will entertain all ages in the crowd.

The movie is 2 hours and 15 minutes long. It’s rated PG and will start nation wide in theaters on May 9th, 2008. The cast includes: Emile Hirsch as Speed Racer, Susan Surandon as Mom Racer, John Goodman as Pops Racer, Christina Ricci as Trixie and Matthew Fox as Racer X. If you get a chance to take the kids out this weekend to see the movie, please be sure to come back here and leave your thoughts on the movie and tell me is this a “must see” movie or “wait for VCR” movie.

The Color of Money Trip

I enjoy shooting pool and the movie that has Tom Cruise and Paul Newman in it, is one of my favorites. It’s The Color of Money and the whole movie is about pool. In the movie, Paul Newman’s character decides to take Vince (Tom Cruise) on a trip to Las Vegas to play in a big pool tournament. As they head out on their trip to Vegas, they stop at all the pool halls along the way and try to earn some extra cash by playing pool.

I would love to be able to do that one day. My pool game is not as good as Vincent, but I play better than most. I think it would be so awesome to go on a road trip and hit all the pool halls you see in the small towns of America. Just stopping in at each place for a day or two and staying at cheap hotels; sounds like a good time to me! I’m not sure if I could win much money doing this, but it would be fun to go to all the different pool places and compete against new pool players you have never seen before. So one day I hope to take the Color of Money trip and since I live on the east coast, I might just have to make my destination for Las Vegas too!

Movie: Son of Rambow

Another Rambo movie is coming to theaters this Friday. This is not your typical Rambo movie, but is inspired by the movie First Blood where we first learn about the fighting machine in John Rambo. The new movie throws a “w” on the end of Rambo and gives us the word “Rambow”. The new movie Son of Rambow has no killing in it and is not an action thriller like any of the previous Rambo movies. I have watched the trailer from this movie and its going to be a comedy for the kids. It’s a foreign film with foreign actors and actresses and I think it gives the film a direction. I don’t think Mr. Stallone or any of the directors and producers of the Rambo movies have anything to worry about and this is going to be a funny movie with a twist.

All of the Rambo movies have been huge hits. I’m not sure the Son of Rambow will get that blockbuster heading or following, but this is a good movie for the kids. I think even the older kids that think they are already adults, you know the ones that are 14 and 15 and want to see the R rated movies; I believe they will enjoy this movie too.

Many people still talk about First Blood and the first series in the Rambo movies. That is pretty impressive that people are still fans of a movie that came out 20 years ago. No one will be talking about the Son of Rambow in 2028, but I’m sure it will be a hot topic in 2008! I give this movie a thumbs up for it’s timing and the way it attempts to create it’s own identity away from the Rambo movie, even though they did slap the title in Rambo fashion and the movie revolves around Ramb; the Son of Rambow does have its own unique direction.

The New Rambo Movie?

Has anyone seen it yet? I haven’t heard anyone talking about it and was just curious. I haven’t had a chance to go and see it yet; but I’m sure I will like it. I love all the Rambo and Rocky movies and I’m sure the newest Rambo movie will be good too. I did see some funny t-shirts that had Rocky and Rambo as an old guy with a walker and shooting a machine gun or an old man with boxing gloves in the nursing home. It is amazing to see Sly Stallone in his 60’s and still doing these action movies. I guess he and Clint Eastwood just really enjoy making movies and the money has never been a issue for them. That’s the reason that both actors have so many great movies out. Please be sure to tell me about the new Rambo movie if you have seen it. Give me a rating scale 1-10; with 10 being a great movie and 1 means it wasn’t worth the 8 dollar ticket price.

Alyssa Milano’s New Movie on Lifetime

wisegalbanner728×90mw0.jpg

Alyssa Milano has appeared on many different channels and in movies on the big screen and now you can catch her on Liftetime this Saturday (March 15th). Alyssa will be appearing in a new movie that is a true story. The movie is called Wisegal and it’s the true story of how a young woman was struggling to provide for her kids and she is forced to do anything she can to help them. So she makes a deal with the mob to start bringing in cash to her home and you will get to see all the things she has to go through during this experience.

Wisegal Trailer from Lifetime starring Alyssa Milano

This looks like it will be a good movie! I like the ones about true stories and I’m sure this movie is going to deliver. The executive producer is Joe Pistone and he is a real life FBI Agent who help to infiltrate the mob. Joe Pistone’s life story is told in the 1997 movie that was called Donnie Brasco. This movie featured Al Pacino and Johnny Depp. So it should offer a true look inside the events of this Lifetime Movie that is based on a true story.

Alyssa Milano will play Patty Montanari  who gets involved with a captain from the mob. His name is Frank Russo and he is tied to a Brooklyn Crime Family and he’s the one that persuades Patty to start making runs for the mob. Soon Alyssa’s character Patty will find out that Frank Russo had killed his own son and wonders just how safe her and her family might be.

I think all the right people are in place to make this a really good movie. This is a long ways from the Italian role that Alyssa played with Tony Danza in Who’s the Boss. Alyssa’s biggest worries then was looking after her father and trying to handle Angela’s son Johnathan. The Bowers are a long ways from being compared to the Sopranos and in Alyssa’s new Lifetime movie Wisegal; she will be in a world much closer to Tony Soprano than Tony Micelli in Who’s the Boss.

If you get a chance on Saturday, March 15th at 9PM Eastern Time, try to check out the new movie Wisegal that will be shown on Lifetime. Please be sure to come back here and let me know your thoughts on the movie and what you liked or didn’t like about the movie.

Fred Astaire Movies

I really like watching some of the older movies that come on tv today. I really think the old war movies about World War II are good ones to watch. For some reason I like a lot of the Fred Astaire movies too. I think he played in one or two movies that revolved around the war. It’s always funny to watch one of his movies and everything is going along normal, until he starts breaking out into song. You can see that he is a really good dancer and no matter what the movie might be about, you will see him dancing around in those tap dancing shoes. I guess he needed the shoes to make all those loud and crisp noises that you can hear in his movies as he’s tapping around the room. I wonder if he could dance like that with platform shoes? Most people remember Fred Astaire for his nifty dance steps, but I really like the characters he played. He reminded me of a southern boy from the hills that just had that genuine good nature about him. I haven’t seen all of his movies, but the few that I have watched have been pretty entertaining. If you like the old movies and have never saw Fred Astaire or maybe you don’t know who he is, look for one of his movies that might be coming on a channel that shows classic movies. He’s pretty entertaining to watch and I haven’t seen any bad movies that he’s played in yet. I think I will try to go through the channel guide and see if I can see any Fred Astiare movies that might be coming on in the near future.

1 Week Until Rambo!

Sylvester Stallone will be hitting the big screens once again next Friday! I hope that I will be able to make it out to the theaters that night and see that new Rambo movie that is coming out. First Blood was the first Rambo movie that came out and that is one of the best movies of all time. I’m sure the new Rambo movie want live up to the first one, but this movie does give us Rambo fans a little more of John Rambo. Remember the guy that would eat things that would make a billy goat puke, yep that’s our Rambo!

I’m just wondering who the enemy is going to be this time. They might tell you in the movie trailers or descriptions for this movie. I have made it a point to stay away from those things or I would show you the trailer to the new Rambo movie in this blog post. I like watching movies that I don’t have any idea what they are going to be about. I like to be surprised as Christmas Morning; when I watch any movie and especially one as big as this new Rambo movie. I’m sure it’s going to leave all the other movies at the box office in the dust and Rambo will be the number 1 movie in theaters next Friday (Jan. 25th). Ok the countdown is on, I guess I will go back to twiddling my thumbs and waiting for this movie to finally come out!

Alvin and the Chipmunks

The Chipmunks are popular once again and its all because of their movie playing on the big screen right now. I was a huge fan as a kid, but the Chipmunks just seemed to disappear from the spotlight. They are back and people are going to watch them. Record crowds have been turning out to see Alvin, Simon and Theodore and to hear Dave screaming “Alllllllllllll-vin!”.

TRAILER TO ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS

Looks pretty good!

I haven’t had the chance to go and see the movie yet. I hear the movie is pretty simple with the Chipmunks just finding Dave and starting to sing. So it leaves the door wide open to see future Chipmunk Movies and we might see the Chipmunks Go To Paris or the Chipmunks Doing the Hula in Hawaii. Just a lot of different ways the movie can take off from here and we probably haven’t seen the last of Alvin and the Chipmunks.

New Rambo January 25th!

January 25th, 2008 Mr. Rambo is going to make his return back to the big screen. Now I love all the Rambo and First Blood movies that have Sylvester Stallone in them and I am really excited to see him back at the box office. I’m just wondering what a 60 year-old Rambo is going to do? Judging by the previews it looks like he will be in some foreign country again fighting another government’s troops. I just wonder how Rambo is going to look, since the actor in real life is starting to get up there in age.

First Blood was a classic and that is the best Rambo movie of them all. The sequels all have been good, but they don’t match up with First Blood. The New Rambo Movie is going to be the movie that everybody goes and sees that weekend. I’m sure it will be the number 1 box office draw for Jan. 25th. I’m hoping this movie will be as good as the other ones and I can’t wait to see what storyline they take with this one. I wonder if this movie is giving Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger any ideas?

Frank Sinatra Christmas Video with Lights

Here is a little video to help you get in the Christmas mood. I was amazed when I saw this video. It must have took a lot of hard work to get the lights to do what they do in this video.

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town by Frank Sinatra

Is that amazing or what? How did they do that?

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions on how they did this, please let me know. I guess you could have someone near the light switch or near the place you plug in the lights and set them off that way. You would have to be a musician to know when all the right notes were going to get played or just know that Frank Sinatra song really well. The last time I was this amazed at Christmas lights on a house, is when Chevy Chase was plugging up all those lights in Christmas Vacation. I really think that Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase is one of the better Christmas movies that is out there.

Whoever made this video did a great job! According to the description at YouTube it was the Macrina Family.

Top 10 Movies This Past Weekend

Will Smith stole the show on the big screen this past weekend. His new movie I Am Legend led all the other movies and including the new movie Alvin and the Chipmunks; which finished second on the box office sales. I really wanted to go see I Am Legend but didn’t get the chance to. I think a movie about a man being the last person living on Earth would be pretty exciting. I think that would be a scary feeling, but even if you were the last person on Earth, surely you would believe that there would be someone else alive. So I think the last person living on Earth, won’t actually know they are the last person on Earth.

TOP TEN MOVIES

1. I Am Legend

2. Alvin and the Chipmunks

3. The Golden Compass

4. Enchanted

5. No Country For Old Men

6. The Perfect Holiday

7. This Christmas

8. Fred Claus

9. Atonement

10. August Rush

These movies are all going to be in a battle this upcoming week when Tom Hank’s Charlie Wilson’s War comes out. This looks like a good movie and deals with the tension between the Soviets and USA during the Cold War. Another good movie that starts Friday will be Sweeney Todd and this one should do well too. National Treasure: Book of Secrets will start with this group also and you should see these 3 movies, with Alvin and the Chipmunks and I Am Legend all in the top 5. If I had to predict the box office sales, this is the way I would rank them.

1. Charlie Wilson’s War

2. National Treasure: Book of Secrets

3. Alvin and the Chipmunks

4. Sweeney Todd

5. I Am Legend

I could see Alvin and the Chipmunks going past I Am Legend this week and possibly going back to their number 2 spot. It should be interesting to see where movie go’ers go and see this upcoming weekend before Christmas.

I would like to see all 5 of these movies and in time, I’m sure I will.

A Christmas Story

One of my all time favorite movies is A Christmas Story. It’s the story of a young boy that just wants a BB gun for Christmas. All he does is think about the gun and how to convince his parents on letting him have a BB gun. The movie reminds me of my childhood and those days leading up to Christmas. We are right now in the middle of those days and there are so many kids that can’t wait until Santa Clause comes.

Ralphie did everything in his powers to get that Red Rider BB Gun and it’s great how the movie solves the problem at the end. This movie is usually shown on TNT for 24 hours during Christmas Day. I haven’t seen the advertisements for it this year yet, but I’m sure a lot of networks will make sure that everyone has a chance to see A Christmas Story. It’s one of the best Christmas movies ever and I can’t think of one that is better. Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman was two movies I love to watch as a kid, but now I think A Christmas Story is my favorite holiday treat.

I really like the scenes that take place in school and the little boy that touches his tongue to the metal pole. That was were really funny and should be a lesson to all kids to watch what they put their tongues to, when the weather outside is below freezing. It must be nice to have snow like that during the Christmas holidays. I live in Georgia and if we get a few flurries here at anytime, it’s like Christmas Day for us. I’m hoping this year we get a big snow storm in the middle of the drought most of Georgia and the Southeast is going through right now.

If you have never seen the movie A Christmas Story, then be sure to check it out Christmas Day. I’m sure TNT will once again host their 24 hour marathon on A Christmas Story. I just turn my television to that channel and leave it on all day, so I can watch this movie over and over.

Getting Revenge In Movies

Anytime someone does us wrong or we feel that we have been mistreated, we like to pay them back in our own way. You also have to be careful and make sure you treat everyone right, so someone isn’t looking to get you back for something they think you did. Sometimes we might not even be aware that someone is paying us back and when we learn about it; it comes as a shock. You can call it “paying someone back” or you can refer to it as revenge. Revenge can be sweet if we are the ones revenging, but what if you’re caught on the wrong side?

You might recall a movie that was released in 1962 and done again in 1992 called Cape Fear. Nick Nolte plays Sam Bowden in the 1992 remake and his character is unaware of what’s going on. It seems he convicted an innocent man years ago and now that man has served his time and is looking for revenge. Robert De Niro’s character Max Cady is portrayed as the victim, when he had to serve time for a crime that he apparently didn’t commit. Now that Max Cady is free from jail, he feels like he has lost his life and the only thing left to do, is to get revenge on the man that took away his life. So you get to really see the extreme measures that someone will go through, just to get revenge on someone they think has did them wrong in the past.

Coming to theaters this Christmas is another movie that deals with revenge and it’s called Sweeney Todd. For more information you can visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site. This is another good example of revenge in movies. Sweeney Todd who is played by Johnny Depp is in the same boat as Max Cady was in Cape Fear. He feels that he’s been given a punishment that was too harsh for him as well and he decides to take things in his own hands. This movie really looks like a good one for the upcoming Christmas season and you can learn more about this movie if you visit Todd Sweeney on MySpace. Let’s see if Todd Sweeney is like Max Cady or if he’s worse?

Stephen King’s New Movie

Stephen King has done it again and judging by the previews, his new movie really looks good. The Mist by Stephen King will be in theatres November 21st and this is going to be one of those movies that will keep you in your seats. So be sure you get your popcorn and drinks before the movie starts.

It appears that this mysterious mist is going to trap people in a store and if anybody has the nerve to leave, the mist is going to get them. I can remember when a bad thunderstorm was in my area and a lot of people took shelter at a local store. There was an announcement that came over the crowd and was letting everyone know about the terrible weather that was coming our way. All the shoppers in the store waited patiently for the storm to blow over. The winds were very strong and a lot of screams yelled out when the lights went out. The winds from this particular storm were so powerful it blew down trees and power lines, and caused the supermarket lights to go out. They did have emergency lights in place, but they didn’t put out much light. The whole store was very dim and you could just hear the wind outside snapping small branches off the trees. The thunder and lightning from the storm didn’t help things out either. The storm lasted about 15 to 20 minutes, but it felt like it was longer than that. Nobody was hurt and the store’s employees did a good job in keeping everyone calm.

I’m not sure the Mist is going to have the same results. It looks like people will be more than just terrified in this new movie that Stephen King has created. I thought the Fog was a pretty good movie and this movie seems to have a lot of the same characteristics as the Fog did.

A Simple Plan

A Simple Plan is a good movie for anyone that hasn’t ever seen it before. It’s about 3 guys that discover a plane that has crashed in the snow. The pilot is dead on board and the men find 4.4 million dollars on board. They decide they want to keep the money, but they will wait for the plane to be discovered in the spring and see if anyone will miss the money. If the money isn’t mentioned, they will split it up 3 ways. Billy Bob Thornton’s character is great in this movie and his character makes this “Simple Plan”, not so simple. So many twists and turns in this movie and it’s a good example of just what people will do for money. I think I would keep 4 million dollars too, if I found it in a wrecked airplane. That kind of money could change your life forever and even if you did have to split it with 2 other people. This is a good solid movie for anybody that is looking for something new to watch on television.

DB Cooper Found?

A new article is coming out in New York Magazine and it profiles a person that might be the famous DB Cooper. A man that hijacked an airplane over 30 years ago and requested a large amount of money and parachutes. He would later jump out of the airplane and the man and most of the money would never be heard of again. The new article shows what the FBI thinks is the most likely suspect in the DB Cooper investigation. This is the only skyjacking that remains unsolved in U.S. History. There has been a movie made about this incident and it was released in the early 80’s. It stars Treat Williams and it takes more of a comical view toward this situation and not a lot of historical data is used in the movie. I would like to see someone from Hollywood that would take a more serious approach and use all the information we now know about this skyjacking and make a new movie about D.B. Cooper. The mystery of this man still being alive is as popular as the men that escaped Alcatraz in the ealy 60’s. Most people believe that D.B. Cooper and the escapees from Alcatraz would have to be dead, because there is no way that something this big could remain silent all these years, without someone speaking out.
