My Favorite Blank

Who is your favorite college football team?  I live in Georgia and I bleed red and black. I’m a huge bulldogs fan, but I have other teams that I like too. I support all my home teams and I am a Georgia Tech YellowJackets fan too. I know that might seem strange, but I root for both teams on Saturday. Now when they play each other I will usually root for the team that needs to win the most. If the Bulldogs or YellowJackets is going to get to play in a big bowl game, then I will root for which ever one it is.

Now for some reason I like the Alabama teams too! I like Alabama and Auburn and if one of my Georgia teams isn’t playing, then I will watch the Tigers or Crimson Tide play. I think it’s bad the way the West Coast teams in football get so much attention and respect in the polls. There is no way that USC deserves to be ranked 1 right now. The Florida Gators showed the whole country last year that the South is where the best football is played. Florida was lucky to even be given their shot and a lot of little things had to go right for them to even have the shot in playing in that game. Auburn would have destroyed Texas or USC in their undeafeated season, but they didn’t get the chance because too many West Coast fans have contol of the polls.

Last year Tennessee ran over the high ranking California team. The team from the South won 35 to 18 and everyone called it an upset? An upset? Are you kidding me? No, the better team won the game. Now they get to do the same thing this year, as this will be the only game that puts 2 teams rank in the top 25 against one another this weekend. The Vols will beat the Bears again and since the Bears are ranked higher than Tennessee, it will once again be called an upset. I’m not sure how many more times a team from the South can beat a West Coast team, until they understand that the best college football is played in the South!
