Advertisers Searching for Customers

The advertisers are always looking for a new way to promote something or trying to find a new market for their product or service. One of the things that has really been hot over the last couple of years is advertising in blogs. This is a great way for advertisers to get extra links from blogs and get them pointing toward their websites, so they can achieve higher rankings in the search engines. People that use search engines are looking for something specific and being listed high on related search terms is a good way to get a target audience. The advertisers have been taking advantage of this for a few years now and they know the value of blog ads for helping them promote things online.

If your an advertiser looking for more exposure on the World Wide Web or want to get in on all of the blog craze, be sure to check out PayPerPost and SocialSpark. These are both under the parent company of IZEA; which help advertisers connect with the thousands and thousands of bloggers that exist on the internet today. They offer a wide variety of social media marketing services to advertisers and they do bring in great results! They also offer blog posts, blog sponsorships and product sampling to their advertisers. As an advertiser you don’t have to go out searching for all these bloggers on your on. A blogging company like IZEA makes it easy to submit links and instructions to them and they will pass it on to their bloggers that have been prescreened and preapproved for their system. There is not another blogging company online today that has provided so many great results to all of the advertisers they help daily. While advertising in blogs is still relatively new, the folks from IZEA are leading the way in this ever growing industry. Don’t miss out on this part of the advertising world that exists online today and get bloggers working for you!

Old Corn Pops Commercial

I’m sure many of you know the name of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes or Tony the Tiger on a box of Frosted Flakes. As long as I can remember back that is the way these two cereals have presented their self to me. I saw this old television commercial that shows the same cereal basically but instead of the flakes, they call them pops. Also, no Tony the Tiger for the Frosted Flakes and these are just referred to as sugar pops. I thought this was very interesting to see a cereal that is long gone now, but at one time it was probably one of the top cereals that could be found on breakfast tables in America. This commercial also features a star from the past that a lot of kids might recognize the name even today. Wild Bill Hickok is the celebrity that Kelloggs got for this television commercial. I wonder how much money he got paid for doing this advertising promotion? I would be willing to bet that any teenager working at a fast food restaurant today could make as much money in one day than what the legendary Wild Bill Hickok got paid for this tv commercial.

Go Big with the Computer Monitor

If you are getting ready to get a computer for the first time or looking to buy a new one, be sure you find one with a big monitor. Having a big computer monitor makes everything so much easier and it’s worth the extra money to move up a couple of inches in size. All of the text that you have to read on the computer will be so much bigger if you choose to go with a bigger size monitor. The screen size of 19 inches or bigger is what you should be looking for with your next computer monitor. The newest monitors that are out now are really nice and the technology in an lcd monitor or some of the other monitors is incredible. I think it has something to do with the pixels and today’s monitors are sharper and crisper than the monitors that were made just a few years back. I just wanted to make sure if you was debating on a 17 or 19 inch screen size, be sure to go with the 19 inch, because it is well worth the extra money spent. If you find one that is bigger than that and will fit on your computer desk properly, then by all means go bigger than 19 inches! The best money I have ever spent has been on choosing the larger monitor from my choices when I got my new computer.

Small Business Apparel

The keys for success with smaller companies are having all the employees on the same page. If everyone in a small business is working together for the same goals, then a lot can be achieved and over a long period of time, the small company might not be so small anymore. The leaders and supervisors of a small business must have the vision and dedication to keep the company’s goals on track. A good way to start building for success can come from the clothing. A company that takes the time and money to invest in company logo shirts or uniforms for its employees is a good sign that a small business is serious about trying to succeed with their services or products. So think about adding apparel to the company budget this year and take another step toward keeping everyone working for the same goal. This is also a benefit to the employees and it’s less money they have to spend on work clothes.

Finding Value Online

Searching for the best prices at the mall or grocery store can take a little work. You might have to physically travel from one aisle to another or from one store to another to see which item has the best price or best value for the money. Things are much easier online and with a few clicks of the mouse you can travel from one store to another, searching for a certain item. People that take the time to get several quotes on a certain item they wish to purchase will save a lot of money by shopping around. Most consumers do want to try and find the best buy or get the best value for their dollar and to achieve this, it only takes a little extra time. Now is a good time to get more thrifty with your purchases and soon you will start to see where the value is really at online.

Local Pool Leagues

Living just 40 miles north of the city limits of Atlanta I have recently signed up for a pool league in my area. The league consist of a bunch of different teams and they are from Cobb and Cherokee County mainly. Our home base for our team is at Side Pockets, which is located down old Highway 5 in Cobb County in the shopping center that is directly across from where Chastain road comes into Highway 5. We play every Thursday night and tonight will be my 3rd week with the team. We play a road game tonight and will travel to Big Shots located on Highway 92 in Woodstock. This will be the first time I have went into that building and played pool in about 10 years. I use to go to this building when it was under a new name and shot pool there a lot. It is closer to my house than my home base of Side Pockets in Marietta is located. The old names were the Cue Club and Cherokee Billiards. I believe it has had one or two other names after that and it’s now called Big Shots.

The hardest thing for me so far has been shaking off the rust. I have not played any serious pool in about 10 years. I still remember all the things I need to be doing and which shots on the table I should be taking first, but the skill level of actually making the shots is not there right now. We have about 8 weeks left in this sessioin and then the fall pool leagues will start. Maybe I can utne up my game enough now, so I will be ready for action come this fall. If you have never been in a pool league before, you should give it a try sometime. It’s a great way to meet new people , sharpen your pool game and while having fun too!
