Eli Manning: Unstoppable Ambassador

If there’s ever been an unstoppable force in sports, it would have to go to Eli Manning and the New York Giants. While the odds were stacked high against them in the Super Bowl last year, they never did quit and by not doing that, it made them champions. It’s like the unstoppable power of the Citizen watches and how their quality and perfection makes them the champions of time. One of the Citizen watches that really looks sharp to me, is the Calibre 3100. A watch with the Citizen name and the design of perfection; that would make this watch worthy of any champion, like the Eli Manning’s of the world. If you haven’t seen the latest Citizen watches, be sure you take a glimpse today and don’t forget to look at the beautiful Calibre 3100.

Lakers Are Still Fine

While the NBA playoffs might be headed back to the East, don’t look for anything to come easy for the Boston Celtics. They still have to find a way to shut down the best player in basketball for 48 minutes. I can’t see Kobe Bryant being this close to a championship and letting the Celtics have it. I would imagine Kobe will start to take over now and will pick the team up on his back and ride them to 3 straight wins in a row. This series is a long ways from being over and the Boston Celtics really don’t have that will, like a superstar basketball player does. None of the Celtics players are in the superstar status and Kevin Garnett has proven in the playoffs this year, he’s just an average tall player participating in the NBA.

Look for the Lakers to come out on a mission and prove that the Boston Celtics are not that good of a team. Go do your thing Mr. Bryant and when you win the NBA title this year, you will be known as the greatest player to ever play the game.

Better Looking Skin

Lots of products are on the market these days claiming to make our skin look better or even make us look younger. Our skin is the largest organ on the body and is an external organ. It is important that we take care of it for health purposes, but we all want to look younger too. We start early on in our lives taking care of our precious skin. I’m sure many of you tried acne treatments when you was younger to help clear up all the pimples and bumps on the face. If you have ever used a sun tanning lotion or sun blocker to prevent sunburn, this would be another way that we have tried to protect our skin over the years. The sun can do a lot of damage to the skin and it’s important that we really take care of our skin, when we are outdoors. A better looking skin is a healthier skin and can be so important to our quality of life years down the road. Preventing things like skin cancer is something we can do with just a little extra effort. Take care of your skin daily and your skin will take care of you. I’m sure you can find tons of things online if you will just sit down and look for them. Please feel free to share any tips that you know that will help our skin look better, so we can all have a healthier skin in our golden years. I would really like to see some doctors leave tips on this post and give us an expert opinion to a healthier and better looking skin.

Housing Market Still Uncertain

The housing industry is going to need some time to shake things out. New homes are not selling right now and the pinch is being felt in a lot of other areas. Many jobs come from the housing sector and these are the people that work at the home supply stores or hardware stores, to the people that actually go build new homes. This effect has been seen over the last few months and it’s still uncertain to where it might end.

The first thing people need to learn is that the economy is not in great shape. So we do need to conserve and make sure we are watching every penny we spend. The tax rebate checks are slowly working their self into the economy and this should provide a boost for the rest of this year. When you get your checks, make sure you’re thrifty and no matter what you buy, be sure to always keep your eye on a sale that might be going on. We must start with the basics to get things stronger in our economy again.

The housing market is no different and while holding on to your pennies now, may be a negative effect on the economy short term, it will have a better long term future with the home builders. Saving your small money now only means you will have larger sums later and this means less money needed; when you do decide to go buy a new home. So expect new home sales to rise in the near future, but things may still be years away, before it gets back to normal for the entire industry of construction and new homes.

Diet Pills Giving a Boost

Anyone that needs a boost to help lose weight these days can achieve that from diet pills. Many over the counter and prescription diet pills have proven to be an effective way to help lose weight. If you use diet pills properly and try to include them in a balance diet and exercise program, you should be able to benefit from them. Some people just want to take diet pills and lose the weight and it’s really not that simple. You can look at diet pill reviews and try to see what is best for your diet. Another important thing to consider is taking the diet pills properly and not over taking them. Just because you take twice the recommended dosage, does not mean that you will lose weight twice as fast. So if you do get a boost from diet pills to help you lose some extra pounds, make sure they are only one part of your diet and you do involve other things to lose weight.

Technology of Today

It’s amazing just how far technology has come these days. So many new inventions came out last century and I’m sure just as many will come out this century. I just wonder what the earlier people of our time would have thought about the technology of today. Can you imagine if the Pilgrims and Indians would have had cell phones? What would the cavemen have did with microwave ovens? I’m not even sure how Albert Einstein would have reacted to a Bluetooth headset. It does make you wonder if some of these great inventions would have just dropped in the lap of earlier man, would they find them as needful as we do today. I’m glad to be growing up in this time and age. I’m not sure I could have survived the years long ago and I like having a fast food restaurant on every corner. I like food and the modern technology of today, has allowed me to become a picky eater. So as much as I am grateful to be living in the first part of the 21st century, I do wonder how people will do things in the 22nd century. I won’t be around to find out, but if technology continues, they might just find a way to keep me around that long.

1 Week Until Florida!

The time is getting close and I will be leaving in 7 days to go to the Sunshine State. I plan to take it easy when I get down to Daytona and this really will be a vacation for me. I normally go on vacation to be active and try to do as much as the city has to offer, but I have been to Daytona before and did most then. I’m sure some new stuff has been added over the last 5 years and I will check out those things, but I really do plan just to take it easy and enjoy the time on the beach. Just listening to the ocean waves from the hotel room or walking through the sand along the shoreline with the ocean breezes in your face is relaxation to me. So not going to do all the putt putt golfing or trying out the go cart tracks in Daytona. Just a simple vacation for 7 days, that I can sit back and relax. My sister’s family is going with us and my twin 3 year old nephews I’m sure will be the highlight of the week. Just making sure they have a good time and the older nephews is the main purpose of the trip. Let’s just hope that they let Uncle Chris have some relaxation time on his own. I will be sure to do one of my favorite things too and that’s watching the greyhounds run. I enjoy the greyhound races and that has become tradition for me to do, everytime I go to Florida.

Getting Auto Loans Online

Loans are not always about dressing up in a suit and tie or putting on your Sunday best to walk into a loan office and trying to impress a loan officer. They are only concerned about the numbers and your past credit history, so you can stay right where you’re now and search for loans online. Auto Loans is something people look for everyday to find the best rates and to help them purchase a new car that they must have. You can search for these auto loans online and compare for your self who has the best loan for you. You can cover a lot more ground and companies when you search for car loans online; than if you did the leg work in your local town or city. Auto Financing is something most people need and only very few can actually go pay down all of the money up front. So finding a good car loan is essential to most of us and we all want the best deal possible. The key is to take care of your new loan once it gets approved, so you can establish a good credit score and references for future auto loans or other types of loans you might need in the future. So now that you know the easy part, about how to look for a good auto loan, you will have to face the hard part now. The hard part is finding just one car that you want to take home!

Before Sunrise and Before Sunset

200px-before_sunrise_film.jpg

For all the romantics out there looking for a good movie to see, you might want to check out Before Sunrise. This is not a new movie and has been out for awhile. It came out in 1995 and tells a great love story of an American and a European that meet on a train one night and they spend the whole night getting to know each other. While they roam the streets in Vienna, they both know that their time together is limited. So with each one of them knowing that they will never see each other again; they slowly tell more about them selves than they normally would. For anyone that is in the romantic spirit and is looking for a good clean movie that has a great plot, this 1995 film by Richard Linklater is a good one to see.

The story doesn’t quite end right here and maybe it does leave us hanging just a bit. Any fans that like this movie are in luck, because the story doesn’t end on the movie Before Sunrise. Another sequel would follow this movie and it picks up 9 years later with this American and European love story.

200px-before_sunset_movie.jpg

The name of the 2nd part is called Before Sunset and this movie came out in 2004. In the story line, the 2nd part of the movie picks up 9 years later. This is actually true and this movie was released 9 years after the first one Before Sunrise. It gives fans of the first movie a chance to see if there is anyway two strangers living from such faraway places really can have a relationship. I think we all like to believe that there is somebody out there for us and they might not always be in the same town we live in or even the same country like these two movies demonstrate. Someone very special is out there for us all and I do believe that. You might not find them right away and it may take years and years of waiting, but I do believe when the right person comes along, you will know it and you will seize the opportunity. You might not have to go searching too hard either, because sometimes the best things in life are staring right at us and we just never take the time to notice. Keep your eyes open and be patient and one day; maybe your prince charming or princess will show up when you least expect them. Love is universal and it has no boundaries. When two people truly love each other there is nothing that will stop them from being together and either one is willing to sacrifice or do what it takes to be with the other one. Our time here is way too short when you compare it through the ages of our planet. Love existed yesterday and that has led us to today. We still have love in our lives today and as much as that means to us right now, there will also be more love to come tomorrow. So love has been around throughout the ages and its up to each one of us to find out what love is and what it means to us.

I’m sure there would have been many days in the 9 years apart that this American and European would have thought of each other and if your thinking about something too much, perhaps it is love. Time will only tell if true love exists, but when you do get to thinking about that special person and it makes you do all kinds of weird and strange stuff, I would say that you have been bitten by the love bug.

Arizona Boaters Listen Up

As the weather warms up and people head out to the lakes to go fishing, camping, boating or just to have picnics, the accident rates go up as well. A lot of these accidents could be avoided if one simple ingredient was left off the boat. That one ingredient is alcohol! It is just as dangerous to be impaired driving a boat, as it is to be driving a motor vehicle impaired. Arizona State Laws does have an alcohol limit of .08 in the blood stream, so if your blood alcohol count is .08 or higher, you will be arrested! The term that boaters need to be aware of is OUI and this is Operating Under the Influence. Let’s keep things simple and safe on the water this year and leave alcohol off the boats.

Sleeping with the Fish

It’s no big surprise what dangers can happen on the water if laws are not in place to protect people swimming and other boaters. Boating Education Online is a great place to get started before you head out to the area lakes and rivers this summer. Safety should be the top concern for anyone that plans to drive or ride on a boat in Arizona this summer. Arizona Boating was intended to be fun and a activity that family and friends could enjoy on the weekends or anytime during the summer. It isn’t like that when a few careless individuals get out in the water and they have been consuming alcoholic beverages. They just don’t liter the clean waters of our lakes, rivers and streams, but they also cause bodily harm to their selves and other innocent boaters just trying to enjoy the water. We can all enjoy the fun in the sun this year on the lakes, but please keep the alcohol off the boats!

Arizona Game and Fish Department

No one should have to worry about making a trip to the lake this year. There is more watercrafts out there and more dangers creep into place when this number goes up. Just watch out for your fellow boaters, swimmers and always keeping your eyes on the water ahead as you travel across the water. Safety must be in place at all times and if everyone does their part, we can limit the number of accidents this year. So to all the Arizona residents out there, go have fun and enjoy your time on the water. If you’re a visitor that is planning a trip to Arizona and you want to go boating, please make sure you’re aware of the state laws and regulations and we hope you have a great time during your stay in Arizona. One last time, please, please, just don’t even bring the alcohol out to the lake! Boating Operating Under the Influence is a serious crime and those violators will be caught and punished!

No TV in 2009 for Some

All of the television stations will be changing over to a digital broadcast in 2009 and will no longer work with an analog reception. So what does this mean for you? Well maybe nothing and you might not notice it if you currently use a satellite provider like Dish Network or Direct TV or if you’re currently a cable subscriber. Those companies are ahead of the curve and they will have everything in place and ready to go for their customers. The people that will have to change the tv viewing habits, will be the ones that currently use an antenna to get local programming in the area. So if you are watching television via antenna, please be aware of the upcoming changes in February 2009. No television sets will be getting a signal then, so this mean no pictures will be shown on your tv.

This is a move to help everyone get a better television reception and is being led by the government. I currently use satellite television and I will be fine when these new changes take place next year. I do feel bad for the people that live outside of the cities and don’t have a cable service that runs in their area. These folks can still get a satellite dish and they are 2 major companies to choose from, but it doesn’t mean an extra bill coming into the household. In many cases, people that live in these areas and don’t already have a satellite dish, is because they can’t afford it. If you live far away from a big city, I’m sure jobs are scarce and money is probably tight in a lot of these households. So these folks will have 1 of two choices to make; they can get the dish which won’t be easy to afford or they can go without watching television. Television and radio has always been a great value in our country and use to, if you just owned a tv or radio, you could see or listen to what you needed. Now that is no longer the case and television won’t be watched by as many Americans starting next year. Radio will still be free for us to listen to all our favorite tunes, but how long will the music continue to come in for free? Hopefully these changes don’t continue like they appear to be and who would have ever thought that air at a gas station would cost us 75 cents? If they can charge us for air at those prices, take away our television programs; then I’m sure the music coming from our radios is just a little time away.

Help for Those on Diets

Dieting is one of the most common things people do these days. There are some that go on a diet for health related reasons and some just want to go on a diet to lose a few pounds. In most cases going on a diet and taking off a few pounds is a good thing. Some people look fine and really don’t need to go on a diet to help them shed off any pounds. Most people would say that the hard part isn’t losing weight, but it’s keeping the weight off. The reason a lof of us got those extra pounds, is because of our daily routines and habits. So we have to change those things in our lifestyles, if we want to keep the weight off for good.

I would consider my self about 10 to 15 pounds over weight. I think my body could function a little better if I could lose some weight. I don’t feel like the extra pounds I am carrying with me now, is that big of a problem but I know as I get older, those few extra pounds could create more problems for me. Anyone that does choose to go on a diet these days, will not find a shortage of products out there claiming to help them. The Weight Loss industry is a huge market and as long as people feel the need to slim down, I am sure it will just continue to grow. Most of the products out there are FDA Approved and as long as people follow the directions, it can be a safe way to diet. Some might try over-dosing on diet pills and losing weight as fast as they can. I don’t think most doctors would agree with that approach and weight loss should be done at a slow rate, so the body can make adjustments gradually as you begin to lose weight. It is a good idea to always check with your doctor before you start any diet or exercise programs.

I think for most of us, it still goes back to two simple steps. If we will get more active in our daily lives and burn off extra calories that way, we will slowly start to lose weight. The other simple step is just to eat less. This doesn’t mean to stop eating, but just eating a little less each day and doing a little more exercise each day and your body over an extended period of time will lose weight. No one should be trying weight loss on the fast approach and the slow and steady approach is the best way to go for anyone that wants to lose more weight. Be sure to check out a lot of the cookbooks out there that shows people how to eat smarter these days and you will learn how to stay away from certain foods that can cause us to gain weight. Good luck to everyone this planning to start a diet or might already be on one. Just remember to take things slow and you will feel much better overall if you don’t put too much stress on the body with the fast weight loss approach.

Happy Birthday Lisa!

Happy Birthday to Lisa!

birthday_graphics_05.gif

A good online friend of mine that I have known for more than 5 years now; is celebrating a birthday today! She is one of my most special friends in the whole wide world and I would certainly be lost without her. We met more than 5 years ago on April 1st, 2003 while playing in a cribbage league together. We both enjoyed playing crib (the card game); so it didn’t take us too long to hit things off. Lisa was just learning  to play crib or cribbage at the time and I taught her a few things in crib and Lisa taught me how to laugh, smile and just enjoy life in general.

I can’t believe more than 5 years has passed and it seems just like yesterday we was playing crib against each other in a league called Teammates and our crib games were played at Pogo in a room called Violet Eyes. I was on the Loonie Tunes Team and Lisa played for the Mistys. So even though we played on different crib teams, we kept up with each other everyday on MSN Instant Messenger. Even today we still talk almost daily on MSN Instant Messenger.

Even though me and Lisa share a lot of the same interests, we also have a lot of different opinions on other things and for more than 5 years now, we just can’t quite seem to get the other one on the same page. For instance, I know the Atlanta Braves is the best baseball team out there, but my friend from New York believes the boys in pinstripes are the best and she’s a big time New York Yankees fan. She even has an aunt that is real good friends with Bernie Williams (ex New York Yankee) mother or grandmother. So Lisa’s love for the Yankees and mine for the Braves has kept baseball an interesting topic over the last 5 years. We just need a Yankees and Braves World Series to prove who has the better baseball team and maybe that will happen this year.

Lisa is Italian and is a great cook! She sends me the stuff to make lasagna and it’s by far the best I have ever tasted. She puts a few things in a little container that has to marinate for a short time and by the time it arrives to my home in Georgia, it has one of the best smells you could imagine. Lisa’s Lasagna is well worth the 8 hours you have to spend slaving over the stove to prepare it properly.

Movies has been another very common thing we have shared over the years and I have watched about 500 more movies over the last few years because of Lisa, that normally I probably wouldn’t have seen. So since I like to play trivia from time to time, it’s really come in handy watching all of these movies I have now seen.

Today is June 5th and it is my very special friend from New York’s Birthday, so I would just like to take the time to tell her thanks for all the times and memories we have shared over the last 5 years and I look just as forward to the next 5 years and see what our friendship has in store for us. One thing I can say about Lisa, is life is never predictable when you’re around Lisa and just when you thought you have saw or heard it all, she comes up with a whole new way to yank my chain or make me laugh.

Happy Birthday Lisa!

Here’s a little song I found that touches my heart. I know your not into country music as much as me, but I like the message in this song and I think it fits a lot of the ways I feel about you!

More Than A Memory

HAVE A GREAT DAY AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISA!

Baseball Cards at Flea Markets

I like to collect baseball cards and really all of the sports cards like basketball cards, NASCAR cards, NFL football cards and I even have a few hockey cards in my sports card collection. Several years ago I use to go get a table at different flea markets in my local area and would usually spend about 10 dollars for a table for the day. I could use make that money back with a few dollars extra and I also would do some card trading and this allowed me to grow my collection that way too. It’s not a very profitable business to set up on the weekends and sell sports cards, but you can make a few bucks at it and it’s also a good hobby to have.

I like to find things that will increase in value over the years and baseball cards certainly fit into that idea. I’m not sure how many cards I have in my current collection, but it’s pretty safe to assume that I have more baseball cards than 99 out of every 100 people that might read this blog post. If you would like to start a baseball card collection up, I would recommend going to the flea markets and searching out some of the best deals you can find there. Some people just like a specific team or players and the flea markets allow you to just go buy those specific cards for your collection. If you buy the cards by the pack or cases from sports card companies or from the places that sell baseball cards, you will be getting very few of the cards that you really want. You do get cards of people that might not have a lot of value now and in the next 10 years; you might have a card that is really worth something. Rookie cards are the best way to go and they are the most popular cards in the sports card trading industry. So try to hunt down all of the rookie cards of players that are rookies now or will be rookies in the near future. You will have to pay more if you start buying rookie baseball cards of players that are already all stars. You want to buy when the cards are cheap and sell when you think they are at the height of their value. For those of you that own Alex Rodriguez rookie cards, I would suggest waiting for him to pass Hank Aaron on the all time homerun’s list and then trying to sell them before he breaks Barry Bonds record. Your selling point then is that you can tell your customers his cards will increase in value once he breaks Bonds homerun record and they will. However, if you wait until after he has the record, they might not be as much as an upside to his value and it could be difficult getting equal value in the form of cash for his rookie cards. So remember that and keep up the hobby of baseball card collecting for the next generation of kids and young adults to have fun with this hobby as well.

A Weapon in the War on Aging

A new breakthrough is causing a buzz in the medical community and for stock holders in Los Angeles County. The molecule Ethocyn is proving to be a skin-rejuvenating weapon on the war of aging and this new breakthrough could mean younger looking skin for us all. The company that is behind this breakthrough is Chantal Pharmaceuticals and it is being led by Dr. Chantal Burnison. The news didn’t take long to reach the investors in Los Angeles County and now the pharmaceutical company is leading the pack compared to other small business stocks in the area. This might only be the start of things and this news may grow much bigger over the next several years, as Dr. Chantal Burnison tries to discover a solution to aging skin. The public wants a cure on the aging process and since aging is a chemical process, there actually might be a cure for it someday. We may all have a new weapon against aging if Ethocyn continues to perform as well as it has in recent studies. This would help both men and women reduce the effects of aging from the appearance on our skin. Let’s just continue to keep our fingers crossed that his new revolutionary wrinkle-reducing ingredient will be the answer that so many men and women are looking for these days. We do need help in this war and none of us want to age any faster than we have to and I’m sure there will be a lot of supporters to Dr. Burnison and her staff that are working on this miracle at Chantal Pharmaceuticals.

Spades the Ultimate Card Game

I am someone that likes to pick up a deck of cards from time to time. One of my favorite card games would have to be spades. It’s real simple to learn and most can be taught the basics of spades in about 10 minutes or after a couple of games. The really good spades players and the ones that have tons of strategy for the game, learn those over several thousands of games and they can’t be taught as quick. It seems most spades players have different opinions on things and the way they like for the game to go. One of the best ways to play spades is with 4 people and having teams of 2, where each player gets 13 cards dealt to him/her.

Finding a good partner to play spades with can be tough and it’s important that you work as a team or you won’t be maximizing your hand or your partner’s hand. Something as simple as leading off with a certain suit is important and if you know your partner is out of that suit, you want to make sure he/her gets a chance to win books or tricks with their spades. A book or a trick is given to the team that has the highest card out of the 4 played. Whoever starts the round will play any card in their hand and the next player must play that suit. This goes for all of the other 3 people after the first card is played and if you don’t have that suit, you may then throw a spade which trumps the round then and can only be beat with a higher spade. You must be out of the suit to play a spade and if you have a card in the matching suit you must lay it down.

Now if you have a partner that leads off the game with an Ace and you don’t have any cards in that suit, you may play something other than a spade. If you don’t have the first card that is laid down to start a round, you can throw anything that you like. So if your partner throws an ace, you know they should win the trick or book, so it gives you the chance to throw off one of your lowest cards in your hand or you might want to throw a card that you don’t have many left in that suit, so you can be one card closer to cutting that suit with spades.

If you have 3 other people that you know and can get them together for a spades game, but sure to do that sometime. We have sat up all night and played for hours and hours a game of spades that would go to 500, 1000 or if we had a lot of time to play we have been known to play to 5000 before. Depending on the rules will determine how you keep score in spades, but the most common way is that a book/trick will equal 10 points for everyone that you and your partner bid. So before the first card is played each person tells how many books/tricks they think they can get. So if a team bets 5 books/tricks, they will get 50 points for achieving that. They will earn 1 point for each book they get over that, but if they get 10 tricks in a game, they must go back 100 points. So it forces teams to try and bid their hands properly, but if you bet too high and don’t get your books, you will lost whatever you team bet. So you could lose 50 points if you and your partner only got 4 or less books that game. So since you can go backwards on the scorebooks, a game to 1,000 will usually last for about 3 hours and a race to 5,000 can start in the evening while it’s still daylight outside and there is a chance you will still be playing when the sun comes up the next morning.  Get with your friends and challenge them to a game of spades and remember there is no table talk allowed in spades, so if you know you can win a book or want to suggest a card that your partner should lead with; it’s not allowed in spades and the no talking rule in spades, is what makes the game so fun!

The men’s side of things should be pretty interesting and a lot of good players have a shot to win it all this year at Wimbledon. The leading player in the world right now is Roger Federer from Switzerland and right below him from Spain is Rafael Nader. I could see anyone of these two men taking top honors at Wimbledon in July. The rankings leader for the Americans is Andy Roddick and he is currently 6th overall. He will have a lot of support from the United States along with James Blake who is ranked in the top 10 too; to bring the trophy back home across the pond.

The women’s side should prove to be very good too and they are a big attraction every year at Wimbledon. At only 21 years old, Maria Sharapova is currently the leader for the women of tennis in the world. She will be facing some tough competition from players like Ana Ivanovic, Jelena Jankovic and Serena Williams. I think one of the dark horse favorites in this year’s Wimbledon could be Amelie Mauresmo from France.  She’s been working her way up and playing some very good tennis right now and should be interesting how she does if she gets to play one of the women that is ranked in the top 10 in the world.

I have never been to a Wimbledon match in person, but have watched it on television for many years now. I would love the chance to go there on the final few days of the tournament and get to see games played on Court 1 or the legendary Centre Court. Both of these courts are where the final days wrap up at and the other 17 grass courts are used to weed out the field. I’m sure tickets for a seat at Centre Court would not be cheap, but I believe it would be an experience that would last you a lifetime. Good luck to all the competitors competing in the 2008 Wimbledon Tennis Tournament and I can’t wait to see it all start on June 23rd!

$4 A Gallon Gas

Well it finally got here and it didn’t take it long. The national average for gas prices has now reached an all time high of 4 dollars a gallon. It was just a few years back when you could get a gallon of gas for under 2 dollars. So now the skyrocketing prices have climbed more than 100% and it still might not be done going up. We may find ourselves paying 4 dollars a gallon come this fall when prices are suppose to drop and it’s not going to surprise too many people to see gas prices go to $4.50 a gallon this summer.

The main thing Americans can do to battle these high costs is to drive less. The prices at the pump continue to soar and we have cut out other things in our life, but we haven’t stopped driving less. If you want gas prices to go down, then you must plan your trips more wisely and cut down the times you are filling up. It’s gonna take commitment from everyone to get these high prices back down to a reasonable rate. As long as we keep driving our normal amounts each week, the gas companies are just going to continue to raise the price of gasoline. We don’t have to worry about the 5 dollar mark this year, but in 2009 the price is expected to go over 5. So why we’re complaining now, gas prices are 1 dollar cheaper than what most of us will be paying for it next summer.

So Who Has the Best Credit Cards?

A lot of good choices out there for people that are searching for a new credit card these days, but one website out there let’s you easily compare all the companies. The lenders are very competitive out there for your business, so now is a good time to get a credit card or a new one if you have one already. You can use a rating website like CredCardClubs.com to find which credit cards would give you the best deals on balance transfers. This is a good way to get out of a higher interest bracket and into a lower one, by transferring your old credit card balance onto a new credit card. Balance Transfer Credit Cards is nothing new and smart people have been doing this for a long time. It only makes sense to swap your owed balance around if you can pay a lower interest rate on it. So this is one good way to judge which credit card might be best for you. You can break down a lot of other things like interest rates and cash back rewards to determine who has the best credit card for you. If you take a little time and go through all the big credit card issuers like Capital One, American Express, Discover, New Millinium Bank, Advanta, Chase and the ones like those, you will feel comfortable with your final decision and know you got one of the best credit cards out there that was right for you!
