I know it’s different for all married couples or those that are soon to be married. Some couples go with a big wedding with all the bells and whistles and some go with just a few close friends and family for a small wedding. It works the same way for the honeymoon and some newlyweds plan for the moon; while others keep it simple. Some grooms like to surprise their brides and will not tell them where they are going on the honeymoon, until they actually get there or are on their way there. Some couples will plan together on their honeymoon, so they both know where they’re going and they both will be happy with their chosen destination.

Now for those grooms out there that are doing a lot of hard thinking for the honeymoon plans, they might be surprised to know what the brides are thinking. Some brides will want to surprise the groom with sexy lingerie under their wedding dresses or something they can slip into on their honeymoon night, once they get to the hotel or place they will be spending their honeymoon at. It’s a growing trend among brides these days and they are taking more and more time to pick out the perfect bridal lingerie. So for all the grooms out there that has a hard time getting help from their brides on a honeymoon location, don’t worry, she just has other things on her mind!

If your boyfriend or girlfriend’s parents have something special they are celebrating in the near future, it is a good idea on your part to send them a little gift. If the person that you love the most right now, has parents that have an anniversary or birthday coming soon, it’s always a nice touch if you can send them a little something to show that you care. It will make them feel much better about you dating their son or daughter and a great way to start building ties to your new family; that someday could be permanent.

I know most young people don’t have a lot of money to spend these days, but I’m sure your parents would help pay for a gift that you might want to send to your boyfriend or girlfriend’s parents. You don’t have to go get nothing expensive, it’s just the thought that you’re mainly striving for. So just keep your gift simple and perhaps something like a gift basket would be a great gift to give. Just ask your mate about their parent’s birthdays or when their anniversary is and you can just make a mental note of it. When that special day does arrive and you give them a gift, its not only going to impress the parents, but it will also show your girlfriend or boyfriend just how sweet you are.

The 2008 NBA Finals is all set up now and we get to see the two rivalries from the 80’s compete against each other one more time. ESPN did a great little story on this the other night and showed all the fierce battles that the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics took part in during the 1980’s. This should be a fun series for NBA fans to watch and I really like the Los Angeles Lakers in this series. It wouldn’t surprise me to see a 4 game sweep and the trophy and rings going to the guys in the Golden State. This will be a true battle of East .vs. West and all the fun will start on Thursday.

Finding an MVP for the series might be tough, since stars play on both teams. While a nice collection of stars play for both teams, there are only two that stick out the most. When you factor in the way these guys have played in the past during playoff runs, there is no doubt that Kobe Bryant and Ray Allen are the two super superstars in this NBA championship game. So depending on which team wins the series, will depend on who gets the 2008 Finals MVP award. I like the Lakers to win this one in 4 games and I believe Kobe Bryant will be the MVP of the series, to go along with his MVP award from the regular season. If an upset would occur, then the MVP will be going to Mr. Ray Allen. Ray Allen is a tremendous player and knows all about the clutch time of big games and he’s one player that won’t choke for the Boston Celtics. The Celtics do have some other players that are over-hyped, but its Ray Allen that runs the ship in Boston. So good luck to both teams and I look forward to the Ray Allen and Kobe Bryant match ups, to see which one of these superstars can bring home an NBA title to their respected cities.
