I haven’t sat down and played poker with the boys lately. I have been very busy trying to do so many other things online; I just haven’t found time for it. So many great opportunities exist online today and I’m trying to take advantage of as many of them as possible. I have probably bitten off more than I can chew, but will try to worry about that later.

I would like to get with the fellas and play a good card game with them sometime. We haven’t played poker in awhile and I think it would be fun. We play all sorts of games when we get around the card table. We will play 5 card draw, Texas Hold’em, Dr. Pepper, Queens and Fours wild (but we call this game something slightly different…lol) and will even sometimes just play rummy. We have the most fun playing some version of poker, but rummy and even a little spades game with partners can be fun too. We don’t really gamble for big money or nothing, but just use our pocket change for the weekly poker game. I have made more than 50 dollars, when a lot of people would play and a lot of people had a lot of pocket change. Normally a winner from one of our card games would be in the 10 to 15 dollars area. It’s just fun to play and when you add a few nickels and dimes into the game, it makes winning seem better than just winning for pride. We do talk some junk at our poker games and I’m sure it would be very entertaining to an outsider watching us play poker.

We normally set up a card game for around 7 or 8 in the evening on a Friday or Saturday Night. Once we start playing, there is no telling when we might stop. We have seen the sun rise up in the morning on many occasions, so a poker game for us is an all-nighter or can end up that ways sometimes.
