I have 3 down and 7 more to go, to name the best 10 rock ballads of all time. So I am currently at the 7th spot this time and here is the next rock ballad on the list.
7th Best Rock Ballad of All Time
Another great rock ballad from the 80’s!
The group is called Night Ranger and the name of the 7th best rock ballad of all time is Sister Christian. This is a great song that was written and sung by the drummer Kelly Keagy and he wrote this song for his sister. Night Ranger put this song on the album Midnight Madness and went up to number 5 on the top 100 songs by Billboard Hot 100. I’m sure most would agree that this is one of the top 10 ballads of all time.
I can remember as a kid one summer and playing outside a lot on the trampoline. I would have a radio in the window, so I could listen to music and jump on the trampoline. Everytime I hear this song, it makes me think of those hot summer days I would spend on the trampoline and hearing the song Sister Christian being played on the radio. It was so popular back then, that I think they would play this song once every hour on the radio and everybody seem to love this song at the time.
So that is my choice for the 7th best rock ballad of all time and I still have 6 more to choose from. It gets much tougher now trying to find only 6 more songs to list on this top 10 countdown. There are so many great rock ballads out there, that if you only list 10, your going to be leaving off some very good ones. So I can’t fit them all on here, but I will fit the 10 best ones!
10th Rock Ballad - Don’t Know What You Got Till’s It Gone - Cinderella
9th Rock Ballad - Carrie - Europe
8th Rock Ballad - When I’m with You - Sheriff
7th Rock Ballad - Sister Christian - Night Ranger
6th Rock Ballad - ???
5th Rock Ballad - ???
4th Rock Ballad - ???
3rd Rock Ballad - ???
2nd Rock Ballad - ???
1st Rock Ballad - ???

My Atlanta Hawks will be going to Boston this weekend to start their playoff series with the Boston Celtics. I will also be making this trip with them and supporting my local NBA basketball team. I believe this will be the greatest spring vacation I have ever had! The folks around here are really excited to see the Atlanta Hawks in the playoffs this year. It has been a very, very long time since the Hawks have made the playoffs, so this is exciting for us in the Atlanta area. If there is anyone that could give me tips on Things to do in Boston, I would appreciate it!
I have found one place that I think can help me and it’s a company called Trusted Tours and Attractions. They offer discounts on some of the bigger cities in the U.S. and lucky for me that Boston is one of them. The discounts you get are on sightseeing tours and a city that is as rich as Boston, Massachusetts in history; I will definitely want to see all the great things the city has to offer. So this isn’t just a spring time vacation to support the Atlanta Hawks, but a chance to visit the Boston area and take in some cultural.
I know the Hawks are huge underdogs for this playoff series and it’s rare to see a 8th seed team in the NBA playoffs beat a 1 seed, but I think the Hawks have a chance to beat the Boston Celtics. We have more athletes than they do and if we can get in a running game with them, we can certainly tire them out. It’s just great to have our own team in the playoffs this year that we can root for.
So please send me all your tips and suggestions for things to do in the Boston area and I will also check with Trusted Tours and Attractions and see exactly what they have to offer. You can save money too in cities you might be visiting and all you need to do is sign up for the newsletter. Now would be a good time to do so, because they are offering a handheld GPS system and all you need to do is sign up for the newsletter by Monday April 30th, 2008!
