I can remember a job that I use to do; where I would have to buff faucets, showerheads, the handles and other parts that make up our kitchen sinks and bathrooms. It wasn’t a very easy job either and I struggled at it big time. You didn’t have to take no Plumbing Courses or nothing, but you did have to have good eyes. It was like an art form when you buffer faucets and showerheads. I don’t have an eye for art and I think that is what made me struggle so much.

The trick to buffering these parts is to knock off that bright smooth chrome color. You would knock some of the shine off and you would need to do this in the same motion, so all the fine lines in the product would be going in the same direction. When my supervisor would come over and do a part, he would make it look so easy. I would watch him with an eagle eye, so I could do exactly the same things he was doing. You can only learn so much by watching and I have found with any job it is better to actually do it your self; than to stand by and watch someone else do it.

The job paid really well but I didn’t last long there. I worked there for a little over 2 months and still didn’t have the hang of it good. What made the job so stressful is that we had a certain number of parts we had to do each night (3rd shift job) and if you didn’t meet that number, they would consider you under performing. So on most nights I didn’t meet my quota. You just couldn’t work on one part and really get it down and every part was different. We had different styles and some you would buff longer than others and some of the kitchen sink faucets were tough to do because of their shape and you had to make sure all of your lines were going in the same direction. It would also be helpful when you had a new buffing wheel to work with and that company didn’t want to pass out many of those. They expected you to perform at a high level, but didn’t give you the best tools to succeed at that level. I wasn’t the only one there having problems and there were many stories of past employees and current employees that just couldn’t get down the fine art to buffing faucets and showerheads. Still to this day that remains the only job I really tried to do my best at and still wasn’t good enough for the company!

I think the housing market is fine and a lot of the numbers aren’t truly reflecting what is going on right now. The housing market has just leveled off and it has caused some fears in certain sectors of the market. Things will be back to normal soon and just the fact that we live in an overcrowded society should tell you the housing market still has room to grow. I imagine when the first houses start being built on the oceans, moon or mars there will even be a decline there, but rest assure it will pick back up too!

Oil plays a big part in our economy and when the price of gas goes up it sends shockwaves through our economy. One reporter told George Bush that the price of gas was about to go to $4 dollars a gallon and the President said that he wasn’t aware of that. Unfortunate for Barrack Obama because he chose to use that as fuel against the President and made a speech telling Americans that the President isn’t aware of gas prices going to $4 dollars a gallon this spring. Mr. Obama the reason the President isn’t aware of that is because that analyst the reporter was referring to is dead wrong with his analysis. Now who is in touch with what’s going on today? I think the President was fully aware of his statement and just didn’t call the reporter out on it. Since you was quick to jump on that and run with it, your whole entire campaign now rest on the shoulders of gas prices. Barrack Obama has to actually root for gas prices to go up, to come out of this clean. We will see where gas prices go this spring and let’s see who knew what.

Does anyone know anything about the Weavers? Is the Weavers a secret group or organization that we should know more about? I would like to know if there is any Secret Patterns to this organization and exactly what their mission is. I love keeping up with all the conspiracy theories and things we just haven’t been able to explain yet. For instance, does UFO’s exist? It seems we have a lot of footage of unidentified flying objects and not a lot of explanations that go with them. At least any explanations that make sense. I wonder if the Weavers and their organization know the answers to UFO’s?

I hear that a bear is the largest carnivore that lives in North America. Now would that still be true if Bigfoot existed? Why do we have so many stories about Bigfoot and yet haven’t been able to have any solid proof that he exist yet? This could be another one for the Weavers Organization and they might be able to explain Bigfoot or the abominable snowman. Do you think it’s possible for a 7 or 8 foot man-like creature to still be roaming today and still not seen with any video or cell phone cameras? There is one famous footage that I’m sure you seen of a large hairy creature that walks by and gives a slight turn toward the camera. I have seen another interesting video clip that shows a Bigfoot image in it too and that one isn’t as popular as the other one.

So if you have any extra time on your hands, please let me know more about the Weavers. I would love to learn more about them and their day to day movements and see just what they are about or up to.

Do you remember Sally riding her mustang? She was the one needing to slow her mustang down, but all Sally wanted to do was ride. I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard that song being played at a club, bar or someone trying to sing it for karaoke night. It’s one of those songs that as soon as the lyrics start up, everybody around starts singing along. You can’t blame ol Sally; I think the Ford Mustang is one of the best cars that have ever been made. Ford has a lot of good trucks they have put out over the years, but not really a lot of good car models. The Ford Mustang is what gives them the ability to sell some of the other cars they make. It doesn’t take a genius to know that, even Sally knew to get a Ford Mustang so she could right it all over town.

I saw a great Mustang blog that has a lot of information to all the Mustang lovers out there. You can check out some really nice looking gals over there too and if you haven’t got a 2008 calendar yet; you might want to get their 2008 calendar. You might not see a lot of cars on it, but it should help you to remember some of the months better!

I noticed they have an advertisement on their Mustang blog for a silver Mustang event that will be happening in May. This will be the first annual event for this and it’s being referred to as the”Silver in the Hills Cruise”. This will take place in Stone Mountain, Georgia; which is about an hour away from my house in Canton, Georgia. I have been to Stone Mountain many times and if you’re coming to Georgia, you want to make sure you see Stone Mountain and eat at the Varsity too! There is a lot to do in Stone Mountain and you can spend the whole day there. The warmer months is fun because you can check out the laser show at Stone Mountain at night and this Mustang event that will be held in May; will be a nice treat for them if they stick around for the laser show. I might just have to make my way down there for this 2 day event and see all the awesome silver Mustangs that will be rolling in to the park at Stone Mountain. I might see Sally show up and get to see her Mustang too!
