Designer and Antique Style Jewelry

I was browsing through some of the nice jewelry that Firenze Jewels has and it made me think of a shopping trip I made with my cousin to pick out his wedding band. We went to a local jewelry store in our area and I can remember just how perfect he wanted that wedding band to be for him. I guess your wedding day is very special and you want everything to be perfect, right down to the last detail. So he was going to pick out his wedding band and get it sized and his wife-to-be or fiancee would come back later and actually purchase the ring for him. I never really gave it much thought and I know us men usually just go buy the wedding ring or engagement ring as a surprise. So the woman doesn’t really have a big say in the type of engagement ring we might surprise her with; when we pop the big question. I guess I just always assumed the bride would pick out a wedding band that she liked or what she thought her better half would want. I’m not sure if other brides and grooms go through this process like my cousin did, but I think it’s a great way to get the wedding ring or wedding band that you both will like. It will be something that you will have for the rest of your life, so you should get something you like.

Firenze Jewels has a great antique style engagement ring that I think any future bride would love to have as their engagement ring. You can also find other quality pieces of high end jewelry; like necklaces, bracelets, earrings and watches at Firenze Jewels. It’s no surprise at all the quality designs they offer, because they are located in the heart of the New York City Diamond District. They have been there since 1937 and they feature some of the works of the best designers in the world. If you truly want to get that someone special a nice piece of jewelry; you have to look no further than the designers from Firenze Jewels.

Prepaid Cell Phones

I have a cell phone that is prepaid. It seem like a good idea at the time. I really don’t need a phone that much and just wanted one for the car and emergency purposes. My nephews talked me into getting a prepaid cell phone. They told me it could just be a phone that I would get and only buy minutes as I needed them. That sounded perfect for me, because I didn’t really want to have another monthly payment. This way I could just use the phone as needed and only buy extra minutes when I ran out.

It’s actually not quite that perfect with a prepaid cell phone, but it’s close. I am not regretful of my purchase, but there was one detail that my nephews didn’t fill me in on. You still have to keep your service going with the cell phone company in order to keep your same cell number and not have to pay any extra fees to get service restored to it again. Now when you buy those cards for the prepaid minutes or order your minutes from online, you automatically are purchasing extra service time for your cell phone. I am not quite as active with my cell phone as I need to be, but I am very close. I currently have 22 minutes left on my prepaid phone and that would probably last me for a couple more weeks. However, my service runs out in 2 days and I will be forced to buy some extra minutes to keep my cell phone service going. I can purchase 60 minutes of phone time for $19.95 and that will get me 3 more months of phone service. So it’s not that bad and I could probably just pay 20 bucks every 3 months and I would have all the privelages of owning a cell phone. I can even save more money if I will buy my minutes in bulk or take advantage of the “lifetime double” offer that is available to me. If I buy the lifetime double card, I would get double minutes for the life of my phone at anytime I added extra minutes to it. So that 60 minutes I normally buy would be 120 minutes. So I could actually own a cell phone for less than 80 dollars a year and that averages out to about 5 or 6 dollars a month; if I were paying a monthly cell phone bill. Consider all the advantages of owning a cell phone and just how important they can become in an emergency situation, I think 6 bucks a month is well worth a prepaid cell phone. If you are one of the last people on the planet not to have a cell phone (like I was); look at the prepaid cell phones as an option to an affordable way to own a cell phone. You can find a cell phone for less than 20 dollars and this is a one time purchase and won’t involve any additional costs. Try to bite the bullet early sometime in your service plan and buy a big bulk of minutes or a lifetime double offer and you can enjoy having a cell phone too for a really cheap cost.

Flu Season In Full Swing

It looks like we are right in the middle of flu season. I don’t think there is an actual flu season, but if there was, we would be in the middle of it. I see people in a lot of states right now are having a flu epidemic and chances are you have been sick recently with flu or cold like symptoms or know someone that has. In my state of Georgia, we are seeing a sharp increase in those going to the doctor’s offices and to the emergency room suffering from cold and flu like symptoms.

Germs is what helps spread the flu from one person to another one. It’s important to wash your hands frequently and try to limit your exposure to others that might be suffering from flu-like symptoms. Sometimes no matter how hard we try to prevent from getting sick, it still finds a way to get in our bodies and make us feel bad. I recently had a touch of these cold and flu symptoms, but it wasn’t that bad for me. I’m not sure I have got what everyone else is suffering from, because my symptoms only seem to last for about 36 hours and I am feeling much better than I was feeling. I have even seen a couple of players on my local professional basketball team (Atlanta Hawks) get sick and was limited for a short-time due to these germs infecting us all. The flu spreads very fast and it doesn’t take long to work it’s way around, until it eventually finds you. I know the kids are great for spreading the flu. If one kid gets sick at school, it’s only natural for others to catch it from other students, while they are being confined to rooms with each other for an extended period of time. The kids bring it home and get the members of their household sick and soon just about everybody you know will have either got sick or knew someone that did. This happens just about every year and it seems like we have a pretty bad flu bug making it’s rounds now.

If you do get sick, try to get plenty of rest, find ways to add extra vitamin C to your diet and find a good cold medicine that helps relieve you of these symptoms. It’s no fun being sick, but if we can race to fuel our bodies with all the things it needs to fight off the bug, we can limit the time we might have to miss from work or school.

7X Stronger Hair with Naked Naturals

If you have been looking for a good natural shampoo; then I might just have one for you. I recently got to sample the shampoo and conditioner from Naked Naturals. I received the Awapuhi & Lavender color treated shampoo and conditioner a few days ago. I have been washing my hair with these products from Naked Naturals during this time. I have found it’s a great shampoo for cleaning my hair and it does seem like my hair is more manageable than the other generic shampoo brands I normally use. The conditioner claims to make your hair 3X stronger on the label; while the shampoo can make your hair 7X stronger!

lavender2_sm.jpg

There are other types of naked naturals shampoos available, like Aloe Vera & Chamomile for moisturizing your hair and Citrus & Keratin for fortifying your beautiful hair. The Awapuhi & Lavender shampoo that I got to sample is great for color-treated hair. These are 3 great shampoos to use on your hair and you will probably notice an immediate difference like I did when I tried one of these shampoos.

One of the best things about these great shampoos from Naked Naturals is that 2nd word in their name “natural”. You will find most shampoos contain things that are not natural and our hair is a part of us and nature. So it’s only normal to think we need something natural to clean and strengthen our hair the way nature intended. You might can find a quick fix from other shampoos, but what will be the long term damage to our hair? Using a product with all natural ingredients will insure that our hair is as good today as it will be for us later on down the road. Try one of these great shampoos from Naked Naturals and see if they are as good as or better than the shampoo you’re currently using. Don’t forget to check out all the great conditioners too; that you can match up with your specific shampoo from Naked Naturals!

Boys of Summer; Start Swinging the Bats

The baseball season is about a month away and things are already underway in Arizona and Florida for spring training. I love the spring of the year (even though it’s still winter) and when MLB starts playing those spring training baseball games; you know pretty weather is close.

Baseball is such a long season and it seems like spring training takes forever with so many exihibition games that get played before the real games start. I have found that people that have hot spring trainings, usually can carry that over into the real season. So many sluggers that swing a hot bat in March, turn out to be an All Star or MVP canidate for the upcoming season. They are a few that have monster spring training numbers and it doesn’t carry over when the games start counting for real. I’m just glad to be hearing about baseball news and seeing that the boys of summer are already pitching and swinging away in the spring training leagues for Major League Baseball. PLAY BALL!
