I haven’t read a lot of books, but the few I have read I enjoyed. Everyone always says that the book is better than the movie. I can certainly say that is true for my favorite book. My favorite book is The Bridge to Terribetha. I read this book when I was in the 5th grade; so it’s been a few years back. It’s one of the few books I did read back when I was going to school. There was a movie about this story that was out at the time. After our class read the book, we then got to watch the movie about this book. I’m not sure if the teacher wanted us to realize that books are better than movies, but if that was her point about The Bridge to Terribetha; then she sure got her point across to me.
I know they have recently released a new movie about the Bridge to Terribetha and it seems like it might have came out in 2006 or 2007. It’s a movie more geared for the kids, but I was a kid when I read this great book. I would really like to see this new movie and see if it’s better than the movie we saw back in 5th grade. If you have children that like to read and need a good story for them to read, go find the Bridge to Terribetha and let them read it. It does have a sad ending, but it’s that powerful ending that makes it such a good story. I would say that it is similar to Charlotte’s Web or Old Yeller. I really like this book and I think it will always be my favorite book!

I really like watching some of the older movies that come on tv today. I really think the old war movies about World War II are good ones to watch. For some reason I like a lot of the Fred Astaire movies too. I think he played in one or two movies that revolved around the war. It’s always funny to watch one of his movies and everything is going along normal, until he starts breaking out into song. You can see that he is a really good dancer and no matter what the movie might be about, you will see him dancing around in those tap dancing shoes. I guess he needed the shoes to make all those loud and crisp noises that you can hear in his movies as he’s tapping around the room. I wonder if he could dance like that with platform shoes? Most people remember Fred Astaire for his nifty dance steps, but I really like the characters he played. He reminded me of a southern boy from the hills that just had that genuine good nature about him. I haven’t seen all of his movies, but the few that I have watched have been pretty entertaining. If you like the old movies and have never saw Fred Astaire or maybe you don’t know who he is, look for one of his movies that might be coming on a channel that shows classic movies. He’s pretty entertaining to watch and I haven’t seen any bad movies that he’s played in yet. I think I will try to go through the channel guide and see if I can see any Fred Astiare movies that might be coming on in the near future.

Can we blame poor ol Gilligan for getting everyone stranded on that tiny little island in the Pacific? I think we have to first look at the Skipper and did he really know what he was doing? If the professor is so smart, why couldn’t he have figured out that the storm clouds was getting worse that sunk that tiny little ship? You have to also look at the Howells and all the money they had and why not with all their millions, did they not have a cell phone? You know one cell phone, someone that could have forecasted the storm or a good skipper on the S.S. Minnow and this whole tragedy could have been avoided.
I’m not sure if Ginger or Mary Ann could have done anything different to prevent the passengers all getting stranded. I just think we should start spreading the blame around more and not putting the accident or all the failed rescue attempts on Gilligan’s shoulders. I think Gilligan did a lot on the island to keep the other people that was stranded there on their toes. I really did wonder why the professor and skipper could have not put their heads together and built a ship to rescue them off of that island. Just remember the next time you sit down to watch Gilligan’s Island or that all day marathon that might come on, to not blame Gilligan and hold the others responsible too!

Have you ever owned an ant farm? I have never had one, but wouldn’t mind owning one. I guess the trick is not to let the ants out. I have had honeybees and enjoy watching them work. Honeybees and ants are a lot alike and you have one queen that is responsible for adding new members to the colonies. You have worker ants and worker bees that are responsible for keeping everything in order and bringing in food for the queen and the rest of the workforce. Ants and bees will spend their whole life searching and carrying back food to their colonies and they never have a retirement period; so they can sit back and enjoy the fruits of their labor.
I guess a good ant farm to start out on would be the AntWorks Illuminated Ant Farm. This isn’t what you think of ant farms looking like when you picture one in your head. This one really looks cool and it’s something you would want to display in your living room or den for everyone to see. I think my 3 year old twin nephews would really enjoy an ant farm like this one. I’m sure their uncle would get just as much enjoyment out of it as they would. It really is something that the kids and adults would both enjoy. If you have someone in your family that has a birthday coming up soon, consider getting them an ant farm as a gift. It would certainly be something they wouldn’t be expecting to get and I’m sure they would remember your gift for many birthdays to come. What are some of the unusual gifts you have got for your birthdays?

I think I am due for a nice long road trip. I haven’t taken a trip in the last few years and I really could use the break from everything. I like a road trip that has a purpose, so you have a chosen destination in mind. It’s just fun stopping at all the places along the way to shop and eat food you have never ate before. I always have a rule with the people that travel with me; if you can eat it in Canton, Georgia we aren’t going to eat there. Why drive a million miles to eat at a McDonalds, when most of us can do that in our own hometown. I prefer to eat some where I have never ate before and it makes those long trips have more of a purpose.
I love the movie Color of Money with Tom Cruise and Paul Newman. I like to shoot pool and that is one road trip I would be up for anytime. Traveling across different states and stopping at every pool hall you see along the way. That would be a great road trip and I have always wanted to do that. A buddy of mine that has passed away now, use to talk about taking a road trip like that. I think we were planning to do it one day, just waiting to our pool games to catch up with Vinny’s on the Color of Money. Now that he’s gone, I’m not sure if I have any friends that might be willing to take such a journey and it would be a journey of the unknown. You never know what you might find in a pool hall and which people in there are buddies and which ones that are not.
I think I might be going to Florida this year and we will drive there. I think we will be going around the Daytona area of Florida and it’s about an 8 or 9 hour drive from my home in North Georgia. So I will get a little bit of my road trip cravings out of my system this summer. I love going to Florida and it’s a great place to take a week’s vacation for anyone that has never been to the Sunshine State. Lots to do and see and no matter where you’re at in Florida; you’re always like 50 or 60 miles from the ocean. You can hear all the cool stats about Florida, once you go pass the Georgia border and tune in your AM radio to the station that will be on the road signs. I think one of my favorite things to do in Florida is the greyhound track. Daytona has a greyhound track right next to Daytona Speedway and I won the most money ever there on one of those races a few years back.
I have never did a lot of traveling up north, but taking a ride up to Vermont or a place like that sounds fun. I would really like to spend the enitre winter at a place that receives a lot of snow. I always thought it would be fun chopping up the firewood and cleaning the store shelves off, so you could stock up on all your winter supplies. Get everything ready and all the firewood cut right before the first flakes fell and once the snows came in, it would be impossible to leave because the snow is so deep. So you would have to wait out the entire winter in your cabin and the supplies you chose to bring. It would be a survival type adventure, but I always wanted to test my survival skills and having to spend an entire winter in a cabin up north would certainly do that.
Have you taken a road trip recently? Have you got plans in the near future to hit the road? Please share your road stories with me (good or bad) and see if you can help me plan a future road trip. Or perhaps keep me from going on a certain type of road trip.

Have you ever thought about how much money you was actually worth? What if you sold all your stocks and bonds, took out all the money in your bank accounts and sold your home and everything in it, how much money would you have? I guess you would also have to sell your cars, land and cash in those life insurance policies; to see how much you’re actually worth. I have always wondered just how much money I could come up with if times got hard. Oh wait, I already did that and times are hard now, so I pretty much know my worth. I wouldn’t be worth much more than a good used car right now. So I’m not the best example here.
For those of you that are doing a little better than me; how much do you think you’re worth? I think most would be surprised what they would learn if they sold everything they owned and turned it into one cash figure. Some might be surprised they are worth more than they thought, but I think many folks would see they have far less than what they imagined. Those clothes you’re wearing and the car you’re driving now would probably bring you less money than what you paid for them. Most things would be worth less than what you originally paid for them. Your home and land might see an increase, along with your investments that you might own. The bottom line is that most things we buy today go down in value once we own them or they become used in our possession. So a key to getting ahead in life and being more financially secured is learning how to buy more things that will go up in value and not down. So if we ever do need to sell everything we own, we can make a profit on our selves!

It’s always good to see where other webmasters are getting their most hits from. I have seen a sharp increase in my website hits since Trafficera has openned it’s doors. It’s been a great place to drive more traffic to all of my favorite websites. My traffic exchange and blogs are all seeing an increase in traffic and it’s all due to the popularity of a place like Trafficera.

Have you signed up for Trafficera yet? It’s growing rapidly everyday and lots of folks are climbing aboard and seeing that more traffic is possible with Trafficera. There is so many great benefits to those that choose to upgrade. It does cost more to upgrade at Trafficera; compared to the industry standards of other traffic exchanges. I have found that if you can bite the bullet and pay for the $34 upgrade to Platinum, get your lifetime to 100,000 PV (1 star at Trafficera) and can get 1 or 2 referrals in your downline to upgrade, you won’t have to ever pay out of your pocket again for the upgrades. You just need to sell your credits each week and be sure you max out the amount you can sell and you will get logibucks in return. These logibucks are not cash, but are like cash when it comes to upgrading at Trafficera. You can use these logibucks to pay for your upgrades each month and save up enough of these logibucks and you can purchase your platinum membership in 2 or 3 month purchases and this saves you even more money. Try upgrading over at Trafficera and you will see the big difference compared to the Silver Membership free members have.

I have seen another new website come on the scene and it looks like it has a lot of promise to it. It’s called Buddy Pond and it came from the creators of the Marketing Pond. This looks like a good website for advertising and earning a little bit of money online. If you can build up an active downline, you will be able to make a steady stream of income from the Buddy Pond. Not many folks are showing Buddy Pond referral pages at Trafficera yet and this would be a good time to get over there and start promoting over there. Buddy Pond and Trafficera could be a couple of great marketing tools you can help advertise your websites and make a little money while your doing it.

It’s just a matter of time before Trafficera becomes the biggest traffic exchange on the internet. Get in now and help reap the rewards of being a part of something that will be so big one day. TS 25 and TrafficPods have both done very well for Logicscape, but I see their newest toy on the advertising market will soon be bigger than both of those fine traffic exchanges combine!
So what are your tips on advertising online? Do you have any great places that you can count on each day, week or month to bring traffic to your websites? Please be sure to share your best online marketing tools and maybe we can all work together and grow our interest online bigger and better for the rest of 2008 and the years beyond that!

***If you need help getting referrals, please try Star Referrals and add your banner to their website. It’s a great place to find referrals for any program and getting those unique visitors to your website!

You really don’t have to go to any of these workout gyms or clubs you might have to pay a monthly fee with. A few items here and there and you can create your own home gym equipment and start getting in better shape at home. I like to save money and it’s really not too hard to get a few items that will simulate the workouts you can get on those high-priced items at the local gym. Just try to understand what equipment works what muscle and you will be able to come up with something at home that will be just as good as the nice workout equipment the clubs have. If you have any idea or tips on some specific workouts you can do at home, to replace those workouts at the gym, please be sure to reply and pass them along. Getting in better shape doesn’t have to be expensive and just a little thinking, can go a long ways into getting our bodies in better shape and saving money too!

If you like to shop online or maybe you shop for birthday gifts or Christmas items online a lot; be sure you take advantage of all the great places you can save money online. I know the people that shop for me; will be going to all the sports related websites. My friends and family would be smart to look for Dick’s Sporting Goods coupons or other coupons from sporting stores. Why pay full price when you can save money? The economy isn’t doing that great these days and it’s important to save every penny you make right now. You never know how bad things might get later down the road, so look for those money saving coupons online.
One thing that most shoppers do on the internet is buy the first thing they see. If you go to the local mall and shop around, you probably compare prices at different stores and try to find which place has the cheapest item. It’s even easier to do that online and since your just sitting at your computer chair, look at different places online and see which place has the best deal. Be sure to use those search engines and look for money saving coupons online. If you take your time and find the best deal possible and also try to find a coupon for that particular store or website, you will see those nickels and dimes you might be saving, could easily be dollars on any given purchase. Be smart, take your time and do a little price comparison and you will always know that you’re getting what you want for the best price out there!

Jordan has another great short film over at You Tube. This one is called Never Rode and it’s pretty funny to see this guy in this short film. I think your heart will go out to him and even feel sorry for him. Perhaps you have found your self saying things like this or maybe making excuses for other people.
Jordan Crowder’s Never Rode
Too funny!
Why that guy might have never rode in a limo before, I think Jordan Crowder will have plenty of opportunities to do just that. This talented filmmaker is still going to film school and I’m sure when Hollywood gets a chance to see the talented Mr. Crowder they will find a place for him out there. They might not have to find a place and Jordan might just create his own place as he continues to progress toward his talents. I won’t be shocked one bit to see Jordan Crowder arriving to a limo to a Oscars Presentation one day. He has already grabbed the attention of Rob Zombie who posted a YouTube video on Halloween videos and liked Jordan’s Horror Friends at YouTube.
I will continue adding more of Jordan’s short films here at my blog. It will give us all a chance to follow Jordan and see how he’s comming along as a filmmaker. The sky will be the limit, if Jordan continues to pursure his interest in acting and producing films. Stay tuned and I will be adding more works of Jordan Crowder in the near future!
