How many people are out there playing the affiliate game like me? I am involved in so many programs that I can’t keep them all straight. I usually wake up every day to see that I have referred a new member to this or that program. When I see that, I usually get a little boost of encouragement from it and I will spend the rest of the day trying to promote that one program, that I just signed a new referral on.

If you want to be successful and not work all the time, then you have to build up your downlines or referral bases. It’s just a part of the affiliate game that we all have to play, but there can be big rewards later on. I already have a few programs that have taken off and I could just sit back and make a little money off of them. I have one program where I have over 300 new people I have brought in and I have been getting a monthly check from that one. I have another one that I have been in since January 1st and I have already received 2 payments from them and I am currently waiting on them to send my 3rd one out.

It seems everyday I find a new program to join in the hopes I can get a lot of affiliates under me. It also seems like everyday I find a new way to market these programs. Marketing is the key to getting any affiliate program off the ground. You have to take advantage of all the avenues that exist out there. Don’t get caught with tunnel vision either and just look to promote your programs one way. Try several different ways and continue to look for new ones and this is the way you can stay ahead of the people that are promoting the same program as you are. Good luck with your affiliate programs and tomorrow looks like another day of the affiliate game for me!

So just a lot of educational material that people can get their hands on, to learn more about the world of martial arts. I just watched a program on television and I think I have seen my calling. This job looked perfect for me! It’s these crews that travel the high seas looking for sunken treasures. I would really like to do that. I wouldn’t want to work during hurricane season, but the other half of the year, I could just travel the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans looking for buried treasures. There are still a lot of unclaimed treasures that were lost at sea, just waiting for someone like me to discover them.

I like boats and spending time on the lake, so I don’t think I would get sea-sick too much. Even if you didn’t find any pirate treasures on your adventures, it would still be exciting just knowing that you have the possibility of finding it. Some of the treasures in the ocean today are valued at millions and millions of dollars. So it’s not like you would have to find a new treasure each year to keep the bills paid. One nice treasure or boat that you would find and could lay claim on, could support you, your children and your grandchildren for the rest of your lives. It’s a dream just waiting to happen on the high seas and I wish I could take part in it!

The biggest names and the best stars that skate around on the ice are going to be making their way to Atlanta on January 26. This is due to the NHL selecting Altanta as the host of the 2008 NHL All Star Game. The two day event will take place January 26-27 and the folks in Georgia are ready. We want to prove to some of the northern states and Canada that we have a little bit of puck knowledge here in the Dirty South.

The Atlanta Thrashers will be represented in the All Star Game and look for Ilya Kovalchuk and Marian Hossa to get some of the biggest roars from the hometown fans. I think the SuperSkills competiton is better than the actual All Star Game. I like seeing how these guys compete against each other in some of the challenges they have to do individually. You get to see which guys have the most speed on the ice and just which NHL All Star has the best control of the puck. They get to launch pucks at targets that will be placed in the nets. You don’t get to see this in a normal NHL Game, so its a chance to let the fans see what these guys really do have. If your wondering who can shoot the puck the hardest, then tune in to the SuperSkills competition from Atlanta and you can find out which player strikes the puck best. These puck speeds will get up around 100 mph and it shows you just how strong and fast these guys are. I wouldn’t want to be an NHL Goalie with pucks traveling at me; with speeds around 100 MPH. Pads or no pads, that’s gonna hurt!

I will give my prediction for the All Star Game that will take place at Phillips Arena (where the Atlanta Thrashers play) on Sunday January 27th. I have to go with the Eastern Squad of All Stars and I think they will notch two more goals than the Western NHL All Stars with a final score being in the double digits for the East.

I would like to learn more about this United States Basketball League and see if I am in some type of position to consider a franchise opportunity like that. I love to eat chili and there is nothing better than homemade chili on these cold winter days.

I know a lot of recipes will feature things like mexican beer, cumin, coffe ground, bacon or pork parts, chicken parts or broth, beef parts or bones, chili peppers, red and black ground pepper and things like that. I do like a little zip in my chili that adding hot sauce or an haberno pepper can give it. It’s that little twang that makes eating it really good. I play around with all kinds of different chili recipes and just usually mix them up and have my own creation to eat.

It’s a rare occurrence these days to see snow in Georgia. I guess with global warming going on now, we just don’t get the cold air and moisture together as much. On Wednesday afternoon around 3, little flakes of the white stuff began to fall. It was like that for about an hour or two and then those small white flakes became the big, juicy, wet flakes. Those that are great for building snowmen; thats the type of flakes we started getting then. It didn’t take it long, once the big flakes started falling. The ground was glazed in a white, wintry coat and its something our yard hasn’t seen in years. We have had our light dustings, but this was a lot of snow and you could just barely see the blades of grass coming out around midnight that night.

I got out and built a snowman that you can still see now. It was just perfect snow for building a snowman. It wasn’t that cold outside either, with the temperatures hovering around 32 degrees. It was the perfect time to be outside and playing in the snow, even though it was dark and around 10PM Wednesday Night when I was building my snowman. Our satellite dish had so much snow to get caked on it, which I had to get a ladder out and climb on top of the house around midnight that night, so I could rake the snow out of the satellite dish. We were beginning to lose our signal because there was so much snow accumulating on the dish.

I would estimate that Canton, Georgia received 2 inches of snow. That is about how much was in our yard. We live in a holler and the cold temperatures that drop low to the surface, probably created freezing temperatures earlier than other parts of Canton. On the ABC channel 2 news in the Atlanta area, they reported that Waleska had 3 inches of snow. Waleska is in Cherokee County and about 12 minutes away from my home in Canton, Georgia. The school system did shut down on Thursday and all Cherokee County Schools were closed.

Now as excited as the kids were for this latest snow storm (adults too….lol), it looks like we might be bracing for another low pressure area developing in the Gulf of Mexico. Once this low pressure develops in the Gulf, we will begin to see moisture to start flowing ashore over parts of New Orleans Louisiana, Mobile Alabama, and around parts of the pan handle of Florida like Pensacola, Destin, Panama City Beach, Florida. This moisture coming in over these parts will be heading to Atlanta, Georgia and once it moves through Atlanta it will find Canton in Cherokee County. I live about an hour or 40 miles north of Atlanta and our temperatures are normally colder than Atlanta and we generally get a bit more snow than Atlanta does. This new round of winter weather should be getting to the Atlanta Metro Area around 4 AM Saturday Morning. The computer models say that rain will be snow by 7 AM as of right now. Once the snow starts falling at 7AM Saturday, the temps should continue to fall and the snow should last until noon and maybe a little longer. They are forecasting for 1 to 2 inches of snow in my area of Canton or in Cherokee County, Georgia. This snow might last longer on the ground, as the temperatures will be very cold over the next few days past Saturday.

This snow is great for our drought situation in North Georgia. Today they said Lake Allatoona that is in Cobb County, Cherokee County and Bartow County has now reached full winter time capacity. It’s been filling up since December 14th, 2007 and that is the day the lake took in more water than it released down stream. It’s been doing that ever since mid-December and now on January 17th we have reached the full capacity for our winter time levels! What does this mean for the folks in Cobb County Georgia? Bartow County Georgia? Cherokee County Georgia? Kennesaw Georgia? Marietta Georgia? Cartersville Georgia? Acworth Georgia?

Yes, with the rainfall and snow that has been in our area over the last month has filled the lake up to its winter-time levels and we can go back to using our water like we normally would. Let’s just hope that the rest of winter and spring has a lot of moisture associated during that time, so we can experience a full lake this summer!

I have my concerns about online security and I don’t do a lot of banking moves on the internet. It seems that everyday we come up with a new way to make our online environment more secure and the hackers come up with new ways to break the codes for the new ideas. The talented filmmaker Jordan Crowder has another great short film I would like to share with you. It’s called the Third Wheel and it’s another look at the great imagination of Jordan Crowder. Jordan describes the Third Wheel at YouTube as “A guy, an ex, a boyfriend, a gun“. The character Dignan is played by Jordan himself. So you not only get to see Jordan Crowder direct this short film, but he also stars in it too! I would assume that Jordan’s character falls under the “ex” part in his description on the Third Wheel.

Whew! Now how many of you thought that Jordan’s character Dignan lost control? It was a scary scene and something that could have occurred in real life. They are a lot of crimes that get committed everyday, that stem from love or a relationship that has gone bad. Sometimes people break up and it’s not a joint venture. There is usually one side of a relationship that gets really hurt from a break up or separation and sometimes it can lead to something violent like you just saw. We know Jordan could never have lost control like that and luckily what we seen was just a “dream sequence” and his violent actions didn’t really take place.

So have you guys been watching Earl? He comes on NBC every Thursday Night at 8 Eastern Time. I have really liked watching the show and it looks like Earl will be out of prison now. I never thought he would have stayed that long in prison, but there were some really funny parts while Earl was in prison. You will also get to see Alyssa Milano in upcoming episodes of Earl.

I started watching Earl when I read that Alyssa was going to start being on the show. She has recently came out and said that she was suppose to be back on December 2nd, but due to the writers strike, things were a little screwed up right now. Alyssa Milano does support the writers in their strike and she thinks they deserve a bigger piece of the pie for all the hard work and effort they do in bringing us great shows on television like Earl.

Alyssa Milano is also encouraging people to get out there and vote. It looks like John Edwards for president is getting a big boost from Alyssa’s corner, because Alyssa Milano’s leading canidate for President is John Edwards. Other canidates that she likes is Joe Biden, Bill Richardson, and Denis Kucinich. I think John Edwards would be a solid choice for President and think they will be a lot of support for him. It’s always great to have star power on your side in polictics and Alyssa Milano is a big star to have in John Edwards corner.

Alyssa Milano will be in a movie that is coming out in the near future. A release date hasn’t been said yet, but the name of the movie is Wisegal. Wisegal is a movie that is based on a true story. The true-life story of a woman with two sons and trying to put food on the table for them, she ends up taking a job with the mafia. When some of the fellows in the mob start to influence her two sons, is when she tries to get out. It’s not always that easy and trying to get out of the mob could be deadly. I can’t wait to see this new movie with Alyssa Milano in it and I’m not even sure if it’s a big screen movie or just a movie that will come on television. So be sure to be on the look out for Wisegal with Alyssa Milano in it!

You can keep up with Alex at Single Source Writing. I’m just waiting for someone to discover her and she has her own band, music video, or maybe a show on the Disney Channel or Nickelodeon. It’s great that someone with something to give and works well in front of the camera can get noticed with sites like YouTube and MySpace that allow users to upload videos of theirselves.

I’m looking to get the chance to go up to New York one day and seeing all the attractions the Big Apple has to offer. I’m not sure what I would want to see first, but the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Empire State Building and Yankee Stadium would be pretty high on my list. From what I hear from the locals, there is only one way to see all the great attractions in NYC and that is with the New York City bus tours. A chance to not only see the sites, but to get out and enjoy them like the citizens of New York do everyday.

I have a good online friend that lives in Howard Beach located in the Queens section of New York and I love to hear her talk about all the things in the city. No one ever goes to sleep in New York City and it’s just a place that stays open 24 hours a day. I love the night life of big cities and I’m sure no lights are brighter than the ones in New York at night. I hope she can be a tour guide for me one day in New York City and maybe she can join me with one of the New York City bus tours that are a must to all visitors to New York. These bus tours are licensed and registered with the city of New York.
