I know that everybody has some sort of an addiction. I think mine is being on the computer too much! Actually it’s probably more of an online addiction. I have just found the internet to be so helpful in everyday life and in business. It seems when I am online I am connected to the world. It’s a lot like watching your local news that comes on in the evenings. You know if any tornados or escape prisoners were running loose, you would be updated on their news casts. If it wasn’t during the news, you would still feel connected and safe to be on a local channel, where they could up date you with breaking news from that little message line they send across the bottom of the screen.

I just like being a part of things and I think my addiction to the internet is related to that. I know my health is probably suffering from it and I don’t get as much exercise as I should. I just really don’t know how to start cutting down on my internet time. I don’t think there are any programs for online addictions, like you have with drugs and you can find a drug rehab programs somewhere. I think we are still in the infancy of this internet stuff, and I’m sure the doctors will be letting us know of the harmful risks of staying on the computer too long. I look forward to seeing some of these studies coming out.

Do you like getting your picture too? Yeah, me either! It is a lot better now then what it use to be. Remember when we would take our pictures and have them sent off? It would take at least 2 weeks to get our pictures back to see what they looked like. That was until Polaroid made that camera that worked like a printer and would shoot the pictures out instantly. You would just have to wait a couple of minutes for the picture to fully develop with their technology they had.

Now it’s 2007 and when can take all the pictures we want and see them instantly on our computers. If you have one of the digital cameras that can be easily found these days. I really like the ability to go snap about 50 pictures and then can bring them to my computer and choose which ones to keep and which ones to forget about. Then I can go back out and take more pictures. The new technology with these digital cameras sure has come a long ways. It even makes those Polaroid cameras look weak, when at one time they were the king of all cameras.

Now for shooting live video, I have a digital camcorder. I go to my nephew’s baseball and football games and record him with it. I also have 2 twin nephews that are about 2 1/2 years old and I can fill up tape after tape with some of the stuff the twins give me. They are never boring and are always into something. I use a Panasonic camcorder and it’s the 2nd one our household has ever owned. We did have one of those earlier ones where you put the VCR tape in them, and they were real big and bulky. So the camcorders and digital cameras have made taking pictures and capturing our memories a lot better than what it use to be.

It seems National Bingo Night in America has ended their first season on the air. I went over to print out my tickets for this week and it says they have completed the season and no tickets to be printed at this time. I thought the show was gaining in popularity and now they are ending a season? It doesn’t make much sense, since more and more people were starting to get involved.

I’m surprise ABC didn’t rework something out and keep the show going. You can have a seasonal show that allows the people at home to participate in it. I figured a show like this would be new every week. It doesn’t look like it takes too much to produce the show from week to week. I mean they do have a whole week to get it ready. If any of the other networks is reading my message, then this is your chance to cash in. People love when they can interact at home from a television show and would like to see more shows that are similiar to National Bingo Night in America. I think this will hurt the overall success of what this show could have done.

Where do you go to play horseshoes? It use to be a fun thing for me to do on family reunions. I had a hard time when I was little, because I wasn’t strong enough to pitch the horseshoes that far. As I got older I really enjoyed pitching the horseshoes at those family reunions.

Since the 4th of July is coming up soon, I also have fond memories of playing horseshoes with a good friend of mine. He is no longer alive as he passed away in 2002. I really had some fun on the 4th of July Holidays with him. It seems like me and him were always together on the 4th of July. So I really think about him when the 4th of July rolls around every year and that one horseshoe tournament we played at on the 4th of July. We was doing pretty good, but after we lost one match, we never seem to get much luck anymore. It was a double elimination tourney and after that first loss, it was quickly followed with our 2nd loss and we was out of the tournament. I just think horseshoes is one of those sports that nobody really pays much attention to. It would be nice if there was a place you could go play horseshoes regularly like you go skating or to play video games. Have a business designed around horseshoes!

Allison Krause is a tremendous female singer. I have seen her remake a variety of songs by Keith Wittley and John Waite, and even sing gospel songs. Her voice is tremendous and when she sung the song that the late Keith Wittley had done, I thought she sounded like an angel. I am such a big fan of Allison Krause and love to hear her sing.

There are a lot of great women singers and a lot that have incredible voice ranges. Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera are two that come to mind with incredible voice ranges. I’m not sure Allison has that in her arsenal of singing, but she can sound at notes with such a pretty tone. I’m not sure if Allison has any new albums or songs coming out, or what she might be currently working on. I will probably be the first in line when she does come out with a new album. Allison Krause is truly an angel on Earth that we can here now!

Is Forrest Gump a great movie or what? I mean if it was to be done then Forrest was right in the middle of it. He was a fast runner, due to a childhoold illness that caused his legs to be weak. The braces made his legs fast and made him a war hero and a star for the Alabama Crimson Tide’s football team. Not to mention that he ran across the country a few times. He made a fortune off the shrimping industry. He became an unbeatable ping pong player and even showed Elvis Presley how to shake them hips. Forrest Gump is a must see movie for anyone that has never seen it. I give it a big two thumbs up and I think this movie will last through many generations to come. You have to see this movie if you have never seen it!

Have you picked up any clubs lately and started playing the sport? I think golf has became so popular in the last 10 years or so. I see high school kids that get together now with their friends and play golf. It might be the way modern subdivisions are being built these days. It seems a lot of your nicer subdivisions is including a golf course in them, that gives all the residents in the neighborhood a good discount on  golf. Some even keep these private, but most will open it up to the public, but just charge the outsiders a bit more for playing on the neighborhood courses.

Now do I play golf? Let me put it this way, I have been on the golf course about a dozen times in my life, I have picked up a club, and I have been known to actually hit the ball on my first swing sometimes. So yes, I do play golf and I do enjoy the sport. At least I go through the motions of playing it. I’m not good at all, but I do have a friend that I think could compete on the PGA circuit and I tell him that all the time, but he seems happy in his current job of making about 18 bucks an hour. That’s good money, but I think he could make so much more and have a better time, if he would just start playing more and set his mind to it. I mean this guy drives the ball 300 yards consistently and he has them real high lob shots that land on the green that causes those dibits and of coarse he has that little tool in his golf bag that repairs the dibit when he makes one. He has a lot of respect for the sport and I think he would have a bright future in the PGA. If anyone has any tips or suggestions for me, on ways to convince him to shoot for his goals more, then I would love to hear about them. I will be sure to relay them to him and hopefully he will at least try to make some pro golf circuit before he gets too old to play the game as well as he does now. I really do think that he could hit the golf balls as well as anyone on the PGA circuit right now!

I have never bought a new set of golf clubs, but I have had 2 used sets given to me. I think my game would be better with new golf clubs, but I would still need to play a few times a week. Golf’s a good sport that does give you a workout. Since my balls go all over the place, the carts usually don’t travel to the places where my ball lands. So I definitely get a good workout when I play golf. Maybe one day I will have more time to dedicate to the sport, and I already have a nephew that is 14 years old and has an interest in the sport. So I plan to take him out one day this summer to hit the golf balls. He plays baseball now, and is over 6 foot tall, so that’s pretty tall to be only 14 years old. He might have some type of future in the sport too. He’s just not going to get there with my golf abilities or advice that I might could give him.

For me living in the southeastern part of the United States there seems to be a beauty that happens in the fall of the year in the Northeastern part of the United States.  I’m not talking about the New York area, more like the Maine and Vermont areas. I have heard people talk about the natural beauty of the landscape up there for so long, and I hope one day I get to experience that.

I guess we all look for things we can’t get or just haven’t done in our lifetimes. There is so many things that I want to do in my lifetime, I’m just not sure there’s enough time to do it all, even if I started today. So who knows if I will get to experience a fall season in Vermont? Who knows if I will ever have the opportunity to get a Maine bed and breakfast at one of those cozy cottages? I would hope that I could spend an entire fall season up there and even stay long enough to see a big snow. We don’t have big snows here in Georgia. For now it just remains another thing on the list that is very long and remains unchecked as of right now. Maybe one day that will change and I can mark a check by a Fall Season in the Northeast.

Do you guys go over to YouTube much and listen to all the singers over there? Some are pretty good and others are really funny. If I went over to YouTube and put up a video of me singing, then I would definately qualify under the really funny part. I think my singing sounds good, but according to about 50 other people that have heard me sing, I’m not someone that can carry a tune. Actually, a good friend of mine has even told me “you couldn’t carry a tune if you had a bucket”, so by that, I just assume I’m not the greatest singer over there.

If you do browse through some of the singers over at YouTube and you find someone that is really talented, then I would love to hear them. I have recently started featuring a bright star over at You Tube on one of my other blogs. She is very talented and she just has fun with her singing over at YouTube. I’m just wondering how many other stars are over at YouTube that people just don’t really know about.

I like all kinds of music, I just think it’s fun when we can hear someone else singing a song that we already know. Some people do a great job of putting their own touch to a song, and that’s what impresses me the most. When I try to sing a song, I mock the artist that originally sings the song. I have no creative juices in me whatsoever. I guess some songs are fun to mock, and sing them like the person who originally done it. I like to hear about all the advances in hair replacement these days. I’m 34 years old and I still have a full head of hair. I know as I get older, like most men do, I will start losing my hair. There use to be two ways to handle hair loss. Accept it gracefully and go on with your natural appearance or to get a toupee or some sort of wig to cover up those bald spots. Fortunately to the people out there now that are losing their hair, or will soon be losing their hair, there is better alternatives.

I’m not sure about all the latest studies on all the drugs that people use to naturally grow hair, but I know they exist. Another way to cover the balding areas is with a Hair Transplant. I think the modern ways of covering up those shinny spots on our heads is so much better than the older days. I guess women are lucky they don’t have to worry about this problem, but then again we don’t have to shave our legs, so maybe it’s all fair at the end of the day!

I don’t hold a position in the offices of a big company and sometimes I am thankful for it. I know the really big companies are always under pressure to meet deadlines, quotas, and things like that. I’m not sure I could handle all the pressures that come with Corporate America. I know people in these offices are some really intelligent people, but I’m sure they rely on computers to help them out daily. I imagine they have to keep track of everything with some type of financial reporting software. I guess there is some software that can connect all their other office facilities together, even if they are in a different city or state. There has to be some way to keep everyone on the same page and moving as one well-oiled machine. After all, I’m sure that is what made them a big company in the first place.

If you have an office position in a big company, I would really love to hear about your daily duties and just exactly what type of educational classes you took, to get where you are today. Just in case I decide I want to give it a try, I would like to know some courses I could take, so I might have a more direct approach to getting an office job in Corporate America.

I like all dogs and really like the larger ones. Let me rephrase that, I like the larger dogs when they are friendly! I don’t like the mean ones, that’s for sure. The German Shepherds and Siberian Huskies are probably my favorites. I think they make great watch dogs and are good with children. They can really be smart too! I don’t think they are as smart as the Labrador retrievers are. Labs are very smart dogs, and I have never seen dogs smarter than the labs. So I am a big fan of the labs too.

I really don’t care for the smaller dogs. They can be cute sometimes, but the ones that just bark and try to bite your ankles off, is just not a dog for me. I know the little dogs have to act that way since they are smaller than the other dogs. It just gets annoying have a little dog that does nothing but bark and growl at you. Just give me a big ol’ German shepherd to play around in the yard with, and I’m happy! So what is favorite breed of dog?

Living in Georgia, I think it’s safe to say most people go to Florida on vacation. There is so much to do in Florida. The ocean and sun make Florida a great place to getaway to and it’s not far from home, if you live in Georgia. One thing I really like in Florida that Georgia doesn’t have is the greyhound racing. I absolutely love going to the greyhound track and it’s really fun if you have never been.

There are a lot of good places to choose to go to, but choosing a centrally located place in Florida might be your best bet. I think Orlando is probably the center of everything in Florida, so you might want to get a hotel there or even an Orlando vacation rental home might be more what you’re looking for. When you’re in Orlando, it makes traveling to all of the other great places Florida has to offer more accessible. So consider a central location if you are planning on going to Florida.
